truth is back in the day it used to be a “special” gimmick. like the horseman being a flying menace or invincible having wings attached to it.
the game has expanded so much that at this point it can give off the feeling that some horses just arbitrarily began flying.
like idk why sinrunner blanchy can fly. but it feels like an inevitability in game with scores of xpacs and 1000+ mounts where such distinctions get lost in the soup

Mounts no longer mean anything at this point.
Who is even amazed when seeing Invincible, Mimiron’s Head or the Ashes of Al’ar anymore? At this point, if you don’t have one of these, it’s okay because you most likely have the other two.
With hundreds of “rare” mounts, nothing is rare anymore and this game looks like a circus.

What they should do is redesign mount equipment slots for further mount customization and individual customization on a per mount basis. Imagine if you could choose per mount wether you want it to be a ground mount, tbc flying mount or dynamic flying mount. In addition you could equip mounts with water walking, fast swimming, slow fall parachute, bonus speed, whatever you want, and again, on a per mount basis, instead of a one for all setting, like the “switch flight mode” button and mount equipment sockets we have now

Even though it cannot fly, I really like the new rewards. They look marvelous.
Those are barrels with plague in it.
But I won’t use any of those mounts anyway, whether they fly or not; looks quite cheap and bulky to me… especially the weird angular hoof cages…
I also prefer it clean. I want to see its bones. Just like the slimey cat mount.

I get that most horses can fly in wow, but Blanchy is the one that always strikes me as being ‘wrong’.
I wish … I have none of the three 
I like the horse and bought it straight away. It’s purple and I’m purple and he’s far too heavy to fly.
