I don’t need to prove it, the last time we saw the lesser tribes they were under the Zandalari’s command, and I can still get to Dazar alor and see them in their quarters.
The Zandalari under Zuls command, the ones that left and were not there under Rastakhans order, and this is the same Group that tried to overthrow Rastakhan in BFA.
Because that’s their embassy, so to speak, on Zuldazar.
Why would they have an embassy, and citizens then ?
No real statement ingame states that lesser tribes are hunted, emprisonned or anything.

Are they with Zul now? Not from what we see in BFA.
But they also don’t want the Zandalari with the Horde for whatever reason.

Revantusk Tribe, they’re forest trolls and with the Horde.
If we get playable forest trolls I’d assume we get them, unless the Amani wants to join again for whatever reason. I’m praying for Forest trolls for the Horde.

In Orgrimmar you can find Tauren with heritage armor and with tattoos of grimtotem so it is pretty much confirmed that the Tauren will have grimtotem warpaint
Darkspear are not getting customizations of other clans~ because race is just called Troll 
Pretty sure the Zandalari have a strong hold over all the tribes. If you’re looking for any lore loophole, that’s as close as you’re going to get.
I was very quick to call BS on this, but I went out and had a look for myself and I found Torkhan, a Tauren with red Grimtotem facial markings and wearing the Tauren heritage armour.
So, well spotted.

idm new customisation but to be a sarky jerk on the matter i’m just going to presume one of the designers are one of those people who get triggered over a lack of racial ethnicity in a fantasy game
Well, we’ve had normal humans since vanilla and we’re only just now getting Asian human from somewhere.
While yes, they had darker skin tones since vanilla, they were just that, skin tones. There is a lot more to race than just a skin colour, facial structure plays just as much of a visual role.
As for my view on it, I don’t really care. I get more shades of grey for my Worgen, so nothing is new.
There used to be an asian looking face with the old models, and there were some trainers with asian inspired names like ‘‘Woo Ping’’.
Well, humans from Stranglethorn display a more typical ‘‘African’’ appearance now, since the Traveler series. So that’s a thing now.
Don’t matter to me either way, since I’ve never found humans insteresting to play.

Well, there is still a faction of the Grimtotem still within the Horde.
Except we saw nothing of them after Cata, there are about 2 named Grimtotem somewhere in TB, but outside of that they’re just hostile Tauren in the open world.
They are only really mentioned in books and stories, but they’re still there lorewise.
