New UI, Action Bar 1

Hi,

I literally cannot play with the new UI, the Action Bar 1 frame takes more that the width of the screen, the actual buttons are beyond the left side of the screen and thus invisible, and I cannot move the frame to the right because its right side is stuck on the right side of the screen.
No problem with action bars 2-8 though. Screen size 3440x1440.

Clicking the “default button”, changing the orientation and screen resolution and back, do not change anything. Please copy/paste the internal configuration of the other action bars onto bar 1 :).

Hope this gets resolved soon, the subscription isn’t stopped while we cannot play.

least you can play, mine totally screwed since today update. glad i never bought the expansion time to quit now

I have the same issue, 90% of my screen cannot be clicked on now as Actionbar 1 is just on top of it. Can’t even edit my other bars, anything.

Launching the game doesn’t mean being able to play :). Without a visible action bar 1 not much play can be done.

What I’ve found is if you change the orientation to Vertical there’s a chance it goes normal, but as soon as you edit the size it goes madness again.

What did they do with the ui… pfff… this is realy stupid and there is no option to go to the old ui. Soooooo sad.
Hopefully they add a option to go to the old ui.
No wonder that there are so many players leaving wow for this kind of problems.

I’ve found that disabling all your addons and then going one by one enabling them works for me. Someone said also if you delete your cache and WTF folder it should save your layout for next time you log in.

Update Edit:- This is a bit of a guess but I think it has something to do with addons which want to place a button on the mini-map? Try disabling those ones for now (FishingBuddy, All the Things and Altoholic did it for me) Hope this helps a bit.

I’m having the same problem.

Unfortunately, it does seem tied to addons, so if I disable them, it works again.

But there is something weird going on, and with addons in place, if you try to customise Action Bar 1, it’s screen footprint gets bigger and bigger. Playing around with ‘reloadui’ and logging out/in seems to help a little but in unpredictable ways (I think?)

Anyway, I hope Blizz and addon developers get to the bottom of it. I’m this close to getting my UI in a familiar and presentable config, and sorting this out would be great.

I had the same, until i disabled a mod. (in my case it was fishing buddy) that resolved it. But still. I HATE THIS UI

At least you know what the problem is.
My action bar 1 has a really weird glitch whereby the top half of the middle buttons are unclickable. You have to click right at the bottom to use them.
Tried resetting them, moving things about, etc and i dont have addons…just another bug I suppose!

does it have another UI element overlapping? like a actionbar thats set to invisible empty slots?
