I want to puke in my mouth with these ‘‘new’’ raid frames. There are no longer different raid frames pre-sets. I had 4-5 different ones for every aspect of the game - arena , m+ , BG’s and raids. Now i’m forced to use the same stupid raid frames for every single thing not to mention we’re stucked with the green frames without having the option to use class specific color frames. This company is seriously trying to kill every single game they have

Agree, the new UI is horrible looking, and the mini map is way over sized

It wasn’t broken, it was OUTDATED - only getting small changes through the years. It’s a perfect overhaul, at long last, for us users, who don’t like to use addons.
Most of the issues come from players not knowing how to edit it properly.
Its not the most intuitive process in the world.
But for the most part, the majority of the complaints outside of the map and icon sizes, are things that can be changed, just the person hasnt worked out how.

Not looked into that one before so have no prior knowledge to go off.
I have a problem with the new UI. The colors of the unit frames and bar arts(ornaments) look washed out.

Most of it’s fine … it looks as though Bartender is over-riding the bar changes … but there are a few things that they must either change or make customisable:
Smaller minimap
Bigger bar with the game menu etc and colours as I literally can’t see what the different buttons are; also make it movable
Movable (and slightly bigger) bag icons
Bigger mail icon and move it back to the minimap
Also I think this is probably me, but I can see no way to alter the size of the chat box any more as horizontally it’s covering nearly half my screen. Have I missed something?

Can’t find an option to display pets as yet though
U can but no option for multiple pre-sets dempending on the content you’re playing. We’re stuck with only 1 for everything , also no option to make it class specific colors , only green … Can’t believe this made it to live.

I would love to know who came up with this “Let them move UI elements around, but don’t allow resizing” idea. I turned off all of my addons and the screen looks more cluttered than it did before the patch with addons on… I feel like the whole UI is designed for large monitors and TVs and they forgot to test it on smaller screens completely. I have maybe 1/3rd of my screen free from UI elements now -.-
I’ve only used one UI addon in the past to change my bars back to the original, but now it looks like I will need a pile of addons just to fix whatever this mess is. And yes, they should have left the old UI as an option.

You can size your bars by clicking them as it brings up a new menu.
For the UI, on my 15 inch laptop i set the scale to 84%. Works pretty well. (In the normal graphics settings menu)
Used to happen to me as well.
Options > |Gameplay|- Interface > Raid Frames > look for “Display Pets” and check the box to enable it or simply go to Options and type in “Display Pets” in the “Search” bar at the top right of the Options window.
