Basically as title - haven’t found a person with a similar issue and no one on trade chat can help. Basically when I create a new UI set up and save it, it disapears after I relog and cannot load that UI. only the default two available. Anyone else having this issue with a potential fix? No addons are currently installed. Thanks!

try options, action bars & lock the bars - that stopped it happening for me.
I had the same issue as this on both the alpha and the beta. I bug reported it.
I now have the same issue in live. I am currently reinstalling everything. I will update again to confirm results but I am not hopeful at this point 
I have the exact same problem.
But it just happens, when I try to change my chat and save it. I can edit the rest and save the changes log off and log in again and it is all saved.
As soon as I change the chat settings it resets itself and all other changes I did in the meantime.

Do you mean change the position/size of the chat box when in Edit mode, or something else?
Yes, when I edit the chat box in edit mode (position and/or size) and click save, then it is saved for the current session. After logout and login again, the chat box changes are reversed and all changes I did along with it.
Changing everything except the chat box and save it, works.

This actually worked. I did everything apart from touching the chat box, saved it. relogged twice, no change.
Set another new layout, moved only the chat box (i made it smaller and reset the position). Saved it, relogged, the whole layout changed.
Went back to old saved version, relogged, everything remained the same.
Think you found it. Will be bug reporting again because the chat box is insanely big on my laptop. At least I can now keep the one layout for some time
exactly the same Problem here - i ended up to uninstall the game and did a completly fresh one. And guess what - the Problem ist still here

Yes, its just done it to me - scrambled all my buttons - all locked but now a scramble - went in dungeon, came out, logged off logged back in and blaaaaa. The Bars 6,1,2,4 are in correct place I put them & not moved but the buttons are all as they were when logged on 1st time - as in scrambled & not relevant
I just cannot believe this went live with such an annoying bug which makes it simply unplayable.
This drove me mad trying for couple of hours to save my bloody UI settings in vain.
Do I hope for emergency fix? Not really…
And no, I’m not ready to leave chat box taking third of the screen on 17 inch laptop screen.
To say I’m pissed off it’s quite an understatement.

I found that there is a second issue even if you do not touch the chat box.
If you use the addon “Fishing buddy” put it out of use for now. It is moving the first spell bar as well
I got around this by exporting the UI “share” string to notepad. Then I just reimport it each time.
Not ideal, but faster than re-editing them over and over again.

Yep. had same problem. My first 2 chars created and saved okay. Ones after that went away after relogging. So I imported the template from my first char and used it on all other. After doing that, the templates saved okay.
Interesting. I tried this and it has worked! Thanks. It seems as long as you change anything you want EXCEPT the chat bar, it saves no problem and the profile is still there after relog. Seems there is a serious bug with the chat bar then…
Hi, I had this issue and found a fix that seems to have worked so far…
When you create your UI / HUD profile, save it and then type /reload, once you have done /reload, log out of your character to the character selection screen and then log back in, once you’re back in, exit out of the game and then log back in again.
I’m not a tech expert but this worked for me, it seems that just pressing “save” isn’t enough to save the profile.

It remaining at the current size is starting to cause my eye to twitch but resetting the UI for each login is not acceptable either.

As an update, still trying every day to see if this has been resolved. It has not.
Just decided to come back to game after a month+ break and i gotta say… blizz really knows how to drive people insane. Pay money for sub, for game, waste your own time to discover bugs and what in return? This is insane, RAM memory is destroyed/ui setup resets every time you start or relog in game/random FPS drops for no reason/system settings all wrong bcz autorecognition in game lives in parallel universe and wants you to use dx12 with bunch of postprocessing for no reason even tho my account configs still present in game folder.
This remains outstanding, it is not listed as a known bug. I still try to change this every other day.
Please can we have some support?
Same issue here. with or without addons, I cant get my chat box and hud tooltip to get saved. I reinstalled windows, the game, deleted WTF, Chache and Interface folders still the same result
