NEW windwalker 8.1 PVP ONLY talent changes

these changes are fresh and only for pvp talents, and keep in mind that they might change them up more,

they have removed some and put some new to the honor talents pvp.

(Reverse Harm) replaces Vivify.
Heals a friendly target for 8% of their maximum health, and causes 100% of the amount healed to instantly be dealt to the nearest enemy as Nature damage within 5 yards. cost 40energy, instant - 10yard range. and Generate 1 Chi

(Turbo Fists)
Passive
fists of Fury now deals full damage to all targets hit, reduces all targest movement speed by 90%, and you parry all attacks while channeling fist of fury.

this talent replaced the normal fist dmg reduction talent we have now.

(Alpha Tiger)
Passive
Attacking new challengers with Tiger palm fills you with the spirit of Xuen, granting you 30% haste for 8sec. This effect cannot occur more than once every 90 sec per target.

(Wind Waker)
Passive
When you or allies with your Windwalking are snared, the snare is instantly removed and they become immune to snares for 4 sec. this effect cannot occur more than once every 30 sec per target.

(Pressure Points)
Passive
Touch of Death also applies Fatal Wounds to the target, and if the target dies from Touch of Death's damage or with Touch of Death active, the cooldown is reset. Fatal wounds - Healing effects received reduced by 50% for 4 sec.

this talent looks like sharpen, but worse:)

those are the 5 new pvp talents we got, also they removed the CD increase on Flying serpent kick when you pick up (Ride the Wind) talent, which is a buff. so FSK is only 25 sec like legion.

(Grapple Weapon) is also buffed bit, the CD was 1min, now on PTR its 45 sec.

comment below what you think of the changes, and if you think blizzard really trying to make WW fun and viable again in pvp.

I really liked the Expel harm mop version, (reverse harm), you can sit behind pillar and stack CHI, and the heal is instant, and it does dmg, same style as mop except this one can heal others too, but only 10yards, but still seems fun. this replaces control the mist btw. its not there anymore.

Touch of Death with Sharpen Blade, wow! Now we can go full warrior mode!
I feel like cool stuff for WW, after removing WW usual out boxing playstyle with short CCs and controlling the game with mobility and CC and then removing that heavy kicks playstyle with nerfing Roundhouse by 55(Fifty Five!)% WW seemed like a drying plant.
Bring WW back to life!
Also hope warlocks will be able to play the game and ret palas will be slightly nerfed as they deal 12.5k dps in PvP often while being hybrid heal and supporting team with powerful heals and utility spells, also mages Cone of Cold slowing more than other spells question is in the air, just AoE instant Snare for mages is enough, 70% instant AoE snare was Shadowfire in WotLK with a Glyph, for warlocks, so they had only it and it required a glyph, and mages got it so easily, while already having a lot of tools that apply deadly level of snares. Also, buffing Avatar so it stops snares for at least 2 first seconds would be good, it's physically logical as well, you grow and for a short time after growth, not only 1st moment, become immune to snare. Maybe some other stuff about other classes, I feel like classes lack tools and a game is not exciting enough even for mediocre players with lack of buttons, it was decent in MoP, when having different spells that did matter overall or in specific situations, I've never seen a casual player who did complain about having too many tools, only about too few, and they VERY RARELY complain about OPPONENT having too many of them. So like 97% of complaints are about too few tools aka buttons. And assuming Blizzard by a huge part follow casual player desires, bringing a little bit more tools would be nice, for PvP especially.
I'd vote for +1 PvP Talent slot for all classes. Can even make some class special with +2 slots, so classes differ and class difference won't shrink, coz it's definitely doing it right now.

You recall the fond memories of Pandaria, reverting you to Season 15 state for 15 sec.

Wrath of the Sandwalker
Passive
When you spend a total of 20 seconds in crowd control or movement impairing effects, you become Enraged. Tired of walking along the beach, washing up ashore from the depths, no more feeling the sand between your toes and embracing the breeze of the wind once more. You become immune to all crowd control and movement impairing effects, and gain Serenity for 15 sec.

Lag Sweep (PvP Talent)
Passive
When you use Leg Sweep and it fails to hit any enemies, its cooldown is immediately reset and its radius increased by 50%.

In Soviet Russia (PvP Talent)
Passive
Using Touch of Karma on an enemy dispels all immunity effects from them.

You Are Already Dead (PvP Talent)
Passive
While Touch of Death is active, each successive emote typed on the target increases its damage by 10% up to a maximum of 200%. Emotes cannot be a repeat of the same one. Does not work with emote macros.

this is actually huge it's like healing orbs but just better, hopefully it doesn't scale with dampening but other than that it's actually the best i have read for a long time remembers me back to MoP.

Rest is pretty meh we don't have enough talent slots to make them worth picking and we have still as must pick fortyfing brew and probably disarm/disabling reach depends on.

hopefully there are some number changes coming too.
I really like these changes. The PvP talents we currently have are terrible, and these will at least give us some choice.

Wind Waker seems to be a better version of Yu Lon, Alpha Tiger like a version of Tiger Style that can actually proc in arenas, and Reverse Harm is like CtM with more uses.

Alpha Tiger is like a mini bloodlust and could pair nicely with serenity.

That aside though, in my opinion this won't improve our damage or tankiness outside of cooldowns, nor help our survivability. We will still flop. But it will make our goes better!
i mean yeah, you guys are right.

but I think improving control the mist to Reverse magic, is insanely good, because we can literally sit behind pillar and stack chi while healing, also, instant healing others, while it does nature dmg like mop, and its a Fun spell to click on,

also the fist talent seems not bad vs melees, this will be good if the dmg from fist is big, you parry 100%, and they are 90% slowed+ gd dmg, its not a bad change, because we all know they will never give us stuns back again anyways haha

disarm and ride both buffed bit makes also some differences, and the new touch sharpen style seems ok too, but at the end of the day it all depends on our tankiness, if the new "good karma" talent is good then we can actually go offensive talents instead of wall or heal, and just go mongo touch+haste talent or something.

Everything is good we have gotten, but something has to get baseline i would make fortiyfing brew baseline tbh since it is already for MW.
And their reason was because of their squishyness and we're almost as squishy so this would be actually a fair one.

Would give us another place and more possibilites to choose for the new talents if this happens then just some number tuning and WW is fine probably for now.

We could play with Reserve magic/Disarm/Turbo Fists to basically be completly aids for Melee comps.
and for Caster we could play Reverse magic/Disabling Reach/ Alpha Tiger/ Pressure point to give some extra pressure.
If played with Melee against Fmages we could play also with Wind Waker/Ride the Wind to open space for DKS for example and for yourself of course.

So much would be possible if Fortiyfing Brew would be baseline.

I see Reverse Magic getting a must pick 8% Healing for 8% damage, a 40 energy cost AND on top it gives Chi is too good. You can basically spam it with EE and get like 40% of health damage in 3 seconds every minute.

I also think Pressure Points should be a little bit longer 6 seconds is probably fine.
And what about FoF stun back at least on the main target and paralisys on 30sec cooldown?

Paralysis cooldown could be taken down to 30 imo. It could help a lot to have an extra para between legsweep goes to throw on DPS or stop enemy goes. Even if DH has a 45 second on theirs, they still have two stuns!
30 second paralysis would also help mistweavers deal with sheep/clone a lot better too, which is making MW life terrible.

I feel like a fist stun is really too strong in terms of counterplay. Eating a 5 sec legsweep into another stun is not very fun, where the only option is trinket.
What I would like to see is FoF channel time lowered to 3 seconds, while still dealing the same amount of damage.
This would leave counterplay for opponents, while also making it easier to get full damage, and QOL change where capping energy while channeling would be harder, less damage lost if you need to kick, WDP could be used after FoF without tiger punch between to avoid energy cap, e.t.c.
Oof.... if these changes are real, they're not so bad. Remains to be seen how they'll actually perform.

Lovely post. Don't think you're aiming high enough though.

Super duper fist of fury - 1,000,000 damage over 0.5 seconds. Perma kills the player.

Super duper vivify - instant cast 100k heal, does the same in damage back times by each enemy within 200 yards

Super duper trooper chi torpedo -
Launches you at the speed of light 40 yards forward. If an enermy is hit they explode and perma die.

These are the buffs we want.
