News on older reputations implementation

It’s being worked on.
There are obviously some details to work out such as Wolvar/Oracle and Aldor/Scryer reps among other things.
Also I’d expect any additions to be added with an expansion release. Lets wait till we see some news about Midnight before we light the pitchforks.

Bumping this again to stay up

Those just won’t be account wide, just like the DF furbolg rep isn’t account wide. Some reps just don’t work account wide.

Yes …

That was my point, they can’t just flick a switch and make everything Warbound.

As a guess

  1. They won’t touch the alder/scryer reps
  2. Remove the threshold and let the quest be done by any character
  3. Why nothing? New horde characters inherit the horde ones, and new alliance characters inherit the alliance ones.

Years of bumps on the forums until I get exhausted and give up (by quitting lol). I care way more about old content than current content and the old content I’m doing can only last so much. If it runs out, well.

I’ll push for what I think it’s important. If it will realistically take years to arrive, good, I’ll have bumped this a dozen times but no way I’ll be around in 2 years asking for something so simple :stuck_out_tongue: I know myself too well. I’m being practical, simply.

I care way more about this than having a house that’ll be fun for 10 minutes for example - and actually getting annoyed more than I should cus the double down they’re doing on it (and not many people are excited about, just a few that are very happy and good for them). But warbands will make way more people happy and keep/bring more players than Sims ever will. I even go as far as saying, Housing will bleed more players than win. Because it’s a reinforcement that “retail wow” will never become “warcraft” again.

Warbands were a good step in that direction, would revive old content, would make it more relevant, would give something that players from classic for example look for. Housing will push all those fans away, and we should aim for them.

Maybe I should just move to classic, that’s a valid point, but I’m not gonna start over either and that’s the reasons warbands need to be expanded… for tomorrow. Quit boring and time consuming new features and develop the ones that are implemented and worked well.

Blizzard needs to focus on what makes warcraft be so iconic and not successful and stop trying to act cool and try to copy younger MMO’s that’ll come and go while WOW is still here. They’re clearly lost is what all this is giving.
