I write here some of the stuff I want see in future WoW expansions and options in that. Every new expansions is just a remake of the one before. So down below is what I should do;
Exploring - expansion after expansion have a small tiny landsscape. I miss the time of Vanilla and “the never ending” feeling of have areas to explore. No need to pack every inch of quests (skip the quests!) and let us have massiv areas to explore.
Farming Mounts and pets - I like to farm & collect mounts / pets. But WoW turned into a game for to much farm. 5 mounts in next expansion is OK (still have to farm massive old mounts).
Have fun not farm - why was “Timeless Isle” according to me the best zone ever in WoW? Why was this place so great?
Keep on building on the lore we have now - the lore is great now in potential what it can lead to. Just do not stress it to much like the patch w n’zoth.
1st I would like a return of the pre-Legion model with no expansion wide borrowed power systems.
2nd Further iteration on M+ affixes, some of current ones are straight up boring (Fort and Tyra) and others just don’t work for certain dungeons.
3rd Bigger zones that are made with flying in mind (Storm Peaks, Icecrown, Uldun, etc.). And If pathfinder would still be the template it should be earnable from launch.
4th Diverse reputations. Keep a 1 or 2 that would be timegated via WQs f you must but add more that are kill a mod=rep, collect stuff and turn in=rep (really bottom of the barrel examples just to make a point).
5th Less time gates.
6th Cross-faction grouping for PvE and maybe cross-faction guilds
7th New class. I personally would like a Necromancer or a Shadow Hunter, but anything would do honestly.
8th More Allied Races or proper races.
9th Tone back the story. Currently this cosmology stuff we are doing is uninteresting and feels way too alien, I would like to have adventures on Azeroth again, fighting smaller factions like the Scarlet Crusade.
I think they may started building it with shadowlands. Maybe when we go back to azeroth after a big 500 years , scarlet crusade conquered most of the eastern kingdoms , since there is no formidable foe to them (horde & alliance) and they may went crazy cuz we’re already altered our soul with death , undeath and stuff…
That’s not how time works in SL, time moves faster in SL which means when we go back to Azeroth we would have missed a day or so. Also Blizzard confirmed there won’t be time skip.
Honestly, I don’t want the Jailer to win, like from all the bad guys we have fought to actually lose to this nothing of a villain would be insulting. My ideal way to this is, yes we defeat the Jailer (optional Sylvanas dies aswell) and we return back to Azeroth, however it turns out that the Dreadlords have been working behind the scenes(ever since Legion becasue thats when we see Mal’ganis return) and bolstering the lesser factions like Scarlet Crusade, The Quilboar and Centaur tribes (maybe a new faction of quilboars and centaurs emerges) etc. and because Daddy D and the Chuckler are defeated they decide now is the time to strike. These old treads start to attack the horde and Alliance on multiple fronts, maybe we could start developing more political relationships allowing cross-faction grouping because lets say the Alliance helps defending Orgrimar from the new Quilboar-Centaur Tribe and the Horde saves the Alliance from a Scarlet crusade ambush. Raid 1- Defence of Orgrimar, Raid 2- The Scarlet Citadel, Raid 3 - Something with Dreadlords.
Oh yeah Azeroth would be revamped Cata style (we really do not need a time skip for this) but we have the option to turn back time to level and explore the old zones. SL is treated the same as WoD, barely mentioned and forggoten.
