I suffer from Myopia and severe Amblyopia and the ghosts that spawn you need to face are practically impossible to see for me. This is one time im afraid i won’t be able to do an encounter >.<
As for the finding the real one when she rotates, well I had a lot of practice during Legion barrel WQ
This boss honestly is just a reflex/sight check. Easy mechanics but nothing to do with actual game skill.
Literally, blink once and you’re dead. Terrible design.
Easily the best delve boss of the lot, although it helps that a lot of its mechanics were taken from the raid. It’s also the second most difficult delve boss (I found Zekvir to be slightly harder) in TWW.
As a bit of advice, when they start the shadow dance, hover your mouse cursor over the correct clone. As it moves, follow it with your mouse. As long as you can keep up with the movement, choosing the correct clone becomes a piece of cake.
But why though? Adjusting colours slightly doesn’t trivialize the encounter, you still need your skill and reflexes to beat it.
When TWW was released the flightpaths icons on the map were barely visible, I mailed Blizzard accessibility team and next patch a month later they adjusted colours. Not saying I was the reason but they do this kind of stuff.
He was talking about it being the best, not the easiest.
I’m going to disagree with that because Ky’veza is mostly just mastering the mechanics. Zekvir had the massive cone that would one shot you, the dispel which felt horrible to do because Brann was very inconsistant, and the add which had too much health, plus the other less annoying mechanics. Only hard things about Ky’veza are the lines and clones. The portals and guessing game (for me) was mostly fine.
I should also note that Ky’veza is not intended for most peoples current Ilvls so it’s going to be harder right now. Once we all got our champ gear, it’s going to get much easier.
I think also the “direction” check is too strict , like ok if you turn to the wrong one and it hits you on the side or back you’re dead , totally fair i can understand it , but broskis having to use a weakaura line on screen to make sure you and the clone are 100% touching tips is just dogshi… level of mechanic and the fact that there is no error recovery in this fight is too much. At least in Underpin if you missed some adds with the bombs you could just deal with it until the next phase to try and course correct , here it’s oneshot fiesta in ?? mode.
Also… what the hell is with dps bran just popping gryphon and ignoring the portal mechanic? Helloo? 5 minutes into the fight he just trolls me out of nowhere -.-
I just gave this fight a few tries, and I have to agree with the OP, I can’t see the clones half of the time due do the colors being used in this fight/abilities.
They just visually do not register to me whatsoever, and the colorblind options that WoW offers do not solve the problem.
Your posts are coming across as low-key ****y. Considering the topic of the thread are physical disabilities and how that makes players experience the game you might wanna check that privilege at the door…
