So far datamining revealed some Night Elf customization but while other races like Dwarfs get the whole bunch of new colours we can only see 3 colours for Elves which is kinda worrying.
I only can hope that they give same range of customization to all races and not gonna arbitrarily decide that one race have few changes and other race gets tones of them.
3 colors is a lot considering that skin, face and hairstyle will be added along with that~

I have to admit though, Night Elves with human-pink skin look a bit disturbing. Especially with those white, soulless-looking eyes.
In B-Four nobody calls me out for saying that white skin looks disturbing, while I get unwarranted flak for suggesting black elves look out of place too

Well before BfA we heard that too that its just alpha, beta. What can we say - people are suspicious.
There needs to be more additions, this is not enough as it is.

Why should the Night Elves get anything? Nobody cares about that race.

That would be 9.0, and your desire is a different direction than giving the night elves new customizions. What you want is something negative and that’s already mostly confirmed, but new customizations don’t count as such.
I only play night elves, if we look at characters that get more play time than just 10 minutes for me to admire their transmogs at max level.
Besides night elves have fangs. I like fangs. Rawrrr.
