You really have a pessimistic view on these things.
I think there are quite a lot of cool art angles for a possible Night Elf Heritage Armor set. I mean, it doesn’t have to be whatever you think is most boring – with pants on!
Just thinking outside of WoW, when I play HotS I use this skin for Tyrande, because I think it is a cool take on Night Elf armor:

The notion that Blizzard can’t (or won’t) come up with anything cool, and it’s all going to be with pants included, seems like painting the devil on the wall.
Well, that’s all they’ve been doing the last year.
I’ve been stuck with pants since BFA was release, 'cause I’m sadly bound to leather armor. So forgive me if I’m pessimistic of my future as a caster druid, and it didn’t help that my priest leader Tyrande changed into pants when she got angry.
And cool isn’t the problem. They make good sets, I just wish they would stop forgetting their own iconic caster art from the past. That’s my issue with it. I literally picked druid as my next main in vanilla because of the tier sets with the robes. The other reason was that my guild needed healers.

But that has no relevance as far as a discussion on Heritage Armor is concerned. Everyone gets to wear the same. Then it’s just a question whether they’ll make a set with a robe or add a robe as an option. I suppose if there’s a demand for it, then they will – as was the case for Blood Elves and their Heritage Armor.
I am honestly fearing they won’t. I have lost all faith in that the last year. I really hope they fix this. I’ve already sent a suggestion or two about it ingame. I’m pretty much fed up with the melee focus on gear.

I kinda hope that the heritage armor we end up getting, look similar to what Huntress Kasparian is wearing in Tomb of Sargeras. Imo it looks a lot better than the archer outfit that we’ve seen throughout this expansion.

If we’re getting something like that, it needs a robe version. I won’t let it rest.

No Tauren and Troll Druid burned Teldrassil. They were all in Silithus, it is cannon.

usualy i would described some neat kaldorei armor with feathers owls etc. But after bfa it will be t-shirt with print “I survived bfa”

there is a lot of nightelf stuff comming I think they may actually do the heritage armor as a part of that story line with Tyrande…
