Now the zandalari and nightborne share the night elf male model, we’re everywhere near.
We’re approaching human and blood elf levels.

Yeah, but Zandalari has mainly unique animations, and barely any of the night elf male ones remain.

Nightborne are 90% night elf male, their only difference is running and idle stance.
Zandalari male (only) use the base of a night elf male. Some animations are shared such as sprint and laugh animation (probably is more, I havent checked). They are a extremely modified night elf male. but majority of their animations are in fact unique.

I love hte Zandalri male cast animation, not so much the night elf.
Which sort of make sense, nightborne are like 90% night elf anyway, Zandalari aren’t, they just use the skeleton.
it’s just when they’re running you think i’ts a night elf or nightborne, then you go round and see the ugly face.
It’s like you think ah… handsome elf, from the back with one of those hairstyles, and hten it’s anything but… you ever seen those people with those cool hairstyles or looking trendy from the back, then you go round and they’re… really… not what you thought they would be.

NE males, popular? Well yes, but actually no 
Nightborne are certainly edited Night Elves, which makes sense considering that they’re literally mana-hungry evolved forms of Night Elves. Perhaps I am not as attentive to detail, but I am not really seeing much resemblence with the Zandalari, apart from both standing tall and proud.

The Nelves may have got the face, but the trolls definitely got the cool.
it makes sense that Trolls have the same model as nightelves, Nightelves are an evolution of trolls after all.
ne male and zanda male are actually way more different than you think. i thought they where kinda similar at first but they have been tweeked on the ptr a few times.
So since the night elf animations seems to be the base for 90% of playable races and not

To not look goofy atleast. They have the worst animations ever, even murlocs are better

Nelves didn’t come from Zandalari but Dark Trolls, and Dark Trolls looked like purple Amani.
And Kalibas I wouldn’t throw Zandalaris in same bag with Nelves. Despite sharing base skeleton they’re still vastly different.

They used that model as a starting point. However, everything down to the idle stance animation is now unique.
Which makes sense really when one considers Night Elves evolved from Trolls.

I really like my NE male druid main.
Though the animations do require attention from Blizz, that swinging while casting makes NEs look like lunatics. Yeah, even Murlocs have more realistic animations XD

I am popular, yes.
Male Night Elves are still pretty poor in many points, just like male Nightborne. Male Zandalari, well, their walking animation is horrible imo so i chose to play a female Zandalari.

Male Night Elves were probably the worst offenders with the model updates. Nothing about them came out right, and as for the male Nightborne, sadly they were rushed just like the females were.

It’s sad that they wasted the most potential. The ingame models from legion looked so great. But yeah, they should take the time and give the Male Night Elves and all the other males which based on it a few new animations.
