So the prepatch is live. Male Night elves have EXACTLY the same model, same neck posture. I know this is a crunch period for WoW devs but I sincerely hope they will not ship Shadowlands with the same quality as the WoD models.

OK! Shadowlands is here! Hopefully the art team now has time to fix this hasty finished Night Elf model. Currently the Nightborne, Blood/Void Elves, Zandalari Trolls, Human, Orcs have straighter postures than the Night Elf male. This is at least as annoying as the new Worgen walk animation. Where is the Blizzard quality ?? 6 years have passed since the WoD launch deadline forced the art team to release unfinished, superficially done models for the 3rd most popular race in WoW! So many new high-quality models and races were released since then! This was not a labor of love, just labor :frowning:

I race changed from night elf to nightborne! The quality of the night elf male model is unacceptable! Regardless, happy holidays everyone!

One year later, with dozen new looks for every race and the night elf posture still looks bad; can’t we fix this please?

Blizz, can you please just implement this change? It’s the only race that had the least amount of rework done to it, it’s embarrassing, really. Just be done with it.

definitely it’s not 10 min of work. It’s much more than that. But I just wish for a consistency to the quality of the nightborne models, which use the same animation skeleton

If this comparison there imgur.com/a/xzHdWF8 looks perfectly balanced to you, and the night elf male quality is consistent with the nightborne in your eyes, power to you.
The comparison you just made is not that great because you don’t have a stable as a playable character. You play a night elf male, which I see, has a helmet. Maybe you want to hide some details of your character’s head/face for some reason ?
Also, it’s not ‘composition’ it’s ‘posture’.

these days you can buy anything from the trade chat
On a serious note, everyone has a different preference for the race / class they played for so long, so why not just introduce more customizable options,. Especially that these “wanna be wow” games have a looot of them.
Can’t make everyone happy, but you can defo give them choices.

Blizzard needs to fix the Night Elves neck. It’s issue really started back in WoD and it’s a shame the bug is still there.
