Roughly a sixth of the suicidal force assigned to die distracting the Horde at Nazmir is made up of Night Elves, which occurs roughly at the same time as the fight for Darkshore between Nathanos and Tyrande.
What do you think would make these Night Elves choose death in a foreign land, to take part in a campaign against a race unrelated to the destruction of their homeland, over the reclamation of what little of their homeland is left? Are they good members of the Alliance for doing their part regardless of what has been done to their people, or are they traitors to their race for turning their back on Darkshore for the purpose of a ridiculous suicide mission?
If the (entirely human) Alliance leadership is responsible for this allocation of Night Elven sentinels to fight in Nazmir, what do you think of how they choose to deploy soldiers of an endangered, homeless species in Nazmir rather than allow them to go and fight for their homeland? Is this a thoughtful and strategic choice that makes the best possible use out of the Kaldorei, or is this a callous and heartless action that shows what little love and appreciation that the Alliance has for its auxiliary races and its eagerness to throw them into the meat-grinder?
What's your take?
they could atleast wear some armor. Male atleast. Being naked in jungles is not a good idea, especially infested with blood god stuff
You think to much about it. They just help wherever they can. They just have a bigger role, because they have all reason to support the alliance against the horde, especially if some of then have nothing to lose anymore.
You're trying to compare us to the current horde, really?!01/11/2018 04:51Posted by Taxaniaor is this a callous and heartless action that shows what little love and appreciation that the Alliance has for its auxiliary races and its eagerness to throw them into the meat-grinder?

I am annoyed the fact that the night elfs are reduced to this state.... Once a mighty race, now an inferior race. Thanks blizzard. You really are doing your best to eliminate this race.
This is rather funny. Notice how not a single stormwind human is among the volunteers. Tells you everything you need to know.

This thread is missing some Arctur.

Worgen, voidelfs, Kaldorei, Kul tiran humans and dwarfs. None of those are stormwind humans.
Also there are humans in the mid. I have taken a screenshot from a video:01/11/2018 07:30Posted by Erevien01/11/2018 07:25Posted by Shandyr...Fake News. I see Worgens!

Worgens on island expeditions are clearly acting like fierce animals.

No frigg off
The less armor, the better.

Doesn't stop the Bloodtrolls to run around in undergarments.
Bloodflies and Snakes are lvl 1 critters, which you can stomp with your battlepets.
Night elves always had some weird fetish about killing trolls. Apparently, to the point they are willing to neglect the defense of the few lands they hold atm.
My take is that being this devolved troll tribe high on Titan Fetus blood, they are like the weird guy at the gym that constantly tries to ridicule the rest putting that extra weight in the machine while hopped on steroids.

.
On a more serious tone, I think it may have to do with Blizzard pushing racial diversity in their plots. Even if they choose the wrong races.
Like really, Night elves should be bottom of the line as of now. And meanwhile, Exodar Draenei are wearing their asses off siting in their island.

I'm not making a comparison or mentioning the Horde at all. This is entirely about how the Alliance treats its member-states and their citizens, independent of what the Horde does.
It says "volunteers" in the quest texts, so I don't see how anyone could pin that one on the Alliance's evil ways.

In that case, my second paragraph is more pertinent than the third. Are these Kaldorei volunteer noble for placing this suicide mission above the retaking of their homeland, or are they traitors to their people and the cause of Tyrande?
I don't understand, why someone of them should be a traitor. Can you explain it please?01/11/2018 10:53Posted by TaxaniaIn that case, my second paragraph is more pertinent than the third. They are simply more intelligent than Tyrande.
