Night Elves look at the moon

I just wanted to point out the adorable and sweet detail of night elves looking up at the moon during night time in game.
Anyone else noticed this?
Try it out yourself. Position your elf outside facing the moon. Watch it’s head slowly look upwards towards the moon. Then let the elf face away- looking straight forward.

This is truly a beautiful detail.
I wonder how many has actually noticed this.

I would love it if they also did that with the stars.

They are children of the stars afterall.

Yeah it would be cool even if it was just an idle animation :slight_smile:, it chould e.g. replace the weird jumping in place we have now :slight_smile:

I know, right? I don’t get why people hate it. They’re bouncing on the balls of their feet like boxers or MMA fighters do in their corners before a fight. It’s a “badass warrior princess” thing, not a “Dead or Alive cheesecake” thing.

Also Night Elves looking at the moon would be d’aww.

I don’t hate the animation it’s fine, and I did say e.g. :slight_smile: .
The reason I picked that example, is that it’s the least fitting idle animation we have ( you’re not really idle if you’re getting ready for a MMA fight :wink: )

My meaning if this animation is the enjoyment of life or happiness of the Night Elves :slight_smile:

Probably because currently we are fighting hard for our homeland and Teldrassil burned, genocide was commited.

It isn’t the time for happy rainbows and sunshine. (Or more appropriately moonlight)

Well since it isn’t all night elfs as have lost fate in Elune, looking at mother moon, could bring a bit of comfort ( I have to agree being happy all the time is a bit much doing these times, but it is an animation as was intended for the long run ).

But why you shouldn’t enjoy your life and beeing full of hatred at the same time. I mean we get our awesome vengeance skin next patch which looks mysterious.

Yeah you are. You’re tensed like a coiled spring, waiting to strike - but you’re not striking, hence, idling. That’s what my Night Elves are doing. If the auctioneer hasn’t sold all my Anchor Weed I’m ready to spring into action and kill him.
