Hey, so I’ve read a few guides telling me that the “Balance of all Things” is the go-to legendary for all night fae boomies, because the increased crit-chance in the 4 second window of “Convoke the Spirits” is just too good. However, reading the tooltip of “Balance of all Things”, I’ve noticed that it only increases the crit chance of Nature and Arcane Damage spells… And, assuming I understand that correctly, “Convoke the Spirits” is mainly firing off Starsurges, which is an Astral Damage spell… so… what’s up with that?
As far as I’m aware astral = nature and arcane, so it should still boost starsurge damage. But I’m no min/maxer theory crafter so don’t quote me on that. xD

Astral is mix of arcane and nature damage
Solar damage is strictly nature damage if i’m not mistaken

Fimbrethil is correct. Astral abilities actually double-dip from your mastery, causing them to do even more damage.
