Hi everyone, after a lot of tests I must point out that for RESTO DRUIDs, and RESTO ONLY (other specs work fine) that are Night Fae, they always have a 2 min cd with long cast Convoke, despite having Unity equipped or not.
I already reported this in beta but it has never been fixed and it is a majority issue for all those who are playing resto these days.
TL;DR: UNITY IS BROKEN FOR RESTO DRUID IN NIGHT FAE COVENANT.
It is not just resto, Feral at least has the same issue. Unequip and reequip fixes it but it is annoying.
I think you’ll find the reason Unity isn’t working for you is because there’s a bug that stops it working when you take the Unbridled Swarm talent. (I see you have Unbridled Swarm selected. Try switching it for something else, and you’ll see the Convoke CD go back to 1 minute.)
The workaround for this is to switch to Necro for Swarm and spend the 2 talent points you’re currently spending on Swarm on 1 minute Convoke instead. It isn’t optimal, but unless they bother to fix this just for pre-patch (and I’d much rather they focus their time and energy on getting DF launch right), it’s what we have.
You got it! Thank you Tyssera, that’s the bug : Unity interaction with Unbridled Swarm! That’s so bad but I would have never figure it out and I searched a lot here. I could try switching to necrolord but I’m not sure that 3 point would be enough for this build (convoke+swarm).
I can confirm that disabling Unbridled Swarm makes unity work!
I really hope they do fix this even if it is only for prepatch.

Don’t forget you don’t need to talent Swarm if you go Necro. You can move the 2 points you currently have in Swarm into Convoke.
