Hi.Logged in to the game in the morning and its night in game.What?Anyone else?

Since 10 am.i was just talking how i miss the play on night yesterday since i play mostly on day when it happened for me today since i logged in its night.Ha.Well ty,but i hope it goes back to the real time
They did away with ānightā ages agoā¦ now itās more like a slightly darker dayā¦ ( imho ofc

The sky is āblackā but its still as bright as day. I donāt know why they did that. Well i guess i do, but whats the point otherwise?
I believe it was because people that couldnāt play during daytime found it depressingā¦ and some found it annoying being dark so they couldnāt see as well. So they removed it, might have been in the beta already?
Its only starts and black sky to me in Dornogalā¦
They really should have put this on a Setting in Options. Iād have it something like:
Darkness: Off, Low, Medium, High.
Cycles: 24h, 12h, 6h, 1h
Iād have it Off as I struggle when it is too dark. Thankfully I play almost exclusively in the middle of the day these day. But when I did work I had to play in the evening.
But I can see that some players would feel more immersed with day / night cycles. So having the choice would be good.

I have always wished that WoW had a faster Day/Night Cycle, so the days would actually pass as you played the game. It adds so much to a game in my opinion. I think a 6 hour cycle would work best. So 1 day IRL is 4 days in WoW.

Went back to day.All as it should be now.May be eclipse.
Yeah, I think other MMOs back in the days had faster day/night cycles, and night time was actually dark. I remember being kinda scared at night in EverQuest because it was easy to get lost in the forest and more skeletons spawned. 
Gamers i think i know what happened.Yesterday i was at Ibelins commemorationā¦And i drinked black potionā¦Its probably what was stuck on me for some timeā¦thats what made sky dark and starry

I remember when I was young during BC the night day cycle was quite awesome and immersive - after binging a whole night suddenly the in game sunrise reminding me that I should sleep one or two hours at least to go through the day 
. The weather too was cool sometimes youād get rain outdoors and it felt special.

This thread reminded me that WoW used to have actual dark nights and actual weather effects once, and now Iām sadā¦

Iād actually like it as an option, or even an expansion that had that as a game feature.
Imagine areas that were literally black, apart from a flashlight you have to show you the way. Itās be interesting explorationwise.
