Night shift workers how do you play?

I feel like I’ve lost all connections in this game because of the hours I work.

I log on a couple hours some morning and quite a lot over the weekend. I know others work nights and play this game.

Just wondering how you raid and push key?
Kind of sick of playing alone.

Look for guilds that specifically have a night-time schedule. Is your best shot.

Such as asking in Trade-Chat and looking around:
Best of luck.

Hello,

I usually play 2 hours in the morning (emissary, tmog runs doable solo etc…)
Then I go sleep and play in the late afternoon before night shift starts.
I do Raids, BG’s and M+ during the weekend.

I guess weekend will have to be my best bet.

I dont raid so that might be it, but i do keys, and usualy i come home, sleep till 12 - 13 (from like 8 so 4-5hours) then i go play, thers usualy enough people to do keys.

If it was my last shift, i come home, make coffe and goes straight in, do some solo content (emisaries, tmogs etc) also islands, they are doable even early in morning, then i just do keys or w/e later

Wish you good luck,it’s hard to do any raiding, let alone find a guild at night shift.I had it hard since when i did it i couldnt be steady 3-4h x 3 per week.
So as people suggested during those times you just do everything but raid.
Pushing keys is kinda easier, you can have those 30m-1h peace. The good thing is you are not tide to a realm, witch is good news if you dont care about Mythic raids. So there are alot of timezones and people playing on EU realms across the world.

Depends on your shift times but I used to work 4 on 4 off 12hr shifts 7-7.

I used to wake up around 3-4, have everything ready for work before I sleep so would get 2hrs play time in before going back to work.

If you only working 8 hr shifts is easy. Wake up around 2-3pm and you got afternoon/evening to play when more people online.

On nights off do group content in afternoons/evenings and when all alone in the night do solo content, leveling alts, world quests, emissaries.

I actually found a few players who play at night on eu servers from USA and Russia and quite a few dungeon runners from aussie side of the world. With russians I just keep saying vodka da and eventually they start talking to me.

Maybe someone should make an ingame night shift community lol Anyone you find running dungeons who is good, add them to friends and eventually you build a list of people who are on same time as you.

Raiding was the most difficult part, I had to step down as main raid team tank and go off spec dps because I could only turn up to one raid per week and some weeks due to shift rotation, I could not attend any.

I work Monday to Friday 6-6 leaving home usually 2 hours before my shift because traffic but only takes me half an hour to get back in the mornings lol.

I play 7-9 in the mornings. Friday evenings I have free unless I am offered overtime, if not I’m usually free til Monday evening, ti’s a tricky one weekends though, because not being routine like a week.

A lot of guilds I see do Tuesday and Thursday or Monday and wendesday evening. :sob:

Just be sure to say EU timezone nighshifts. But this is a good idea for keys, and clearing out heroic raids.

5×12=60 hour week? 0_o

When I worked the night shift I played some hours in the afternoon.

I never played in the morning because if I stayed up to late I got to a point where it became difficult to sleep, but logging in while eating after I got up was the way I did it.
And in the weekends of course.

I suggest checking out the communities finder as you get some obscure raid groups that do early mornings which I guess would suit your ‘Working day’.

When your wife lets you should be the answer here?
