Blizzard changed it… Back in the day you could type /played in on any given character. And you’d get a totall time played for that character you typed it on.
And a accountwide time played for all your characters combined played together…
…So anyway ive played for 25 days or something even though my account is 17 years old x)
when did they commit tis preposterous offence to us? Not that im proud but i had a few chars withe nearly a year and i liked to keep track as it made me ease off a good bit.

No idea… But if you want to know your totall time played. You need to do /played on your main and your alts… And restore all your deleted characters and do /played on them too. And do the combined hours for all of them together.
No No on your main I meant. I dont have a main because im a altoholic but still i had some time clocked.

And this is the 2nd hunter I made. For some reason I fell more in love with this hunter than the first. Both from same race.
Altoholic addon is your friend. If you select to show ALL in the level filter it displays for your characters, if all had been visited, the total amount of /played for all your characters. I’m cautiously admitting to 1418 days played since December 2006 (about 2-3 weeks before TBC released). I have a few sizeable gaps in my play history where I couldn’t play for various reasons. Of this, almost 538 days on my main who has been my main since mid-Feb 2007.

Maybe I need to restore all my deleted chars for it to work? Either that or i genuinly have played WoW allot less than I thought. Witch I guess I should celebrate? xD

(Edit. I still remember spending what seemed an eternity getting my unarmed skill to 400/400 by punching the living bejesus out of vrykul.
