So I just did Nerub-ar Palace HC with a pug and on last boss only me and the other dk in the group rolled on Ansurek’s Final Judgment. He already had his bis gear (Omen crafted 636 and Ansurek’s Final Judgment fully upgraded) and as suspected he whispered me to sell it to me. I played ball and said I will give you 5k or else just vendor it (I don’t have bis weapons btw) and got the response “vendor it is” and he left.

Thing is I can’t roll on barely any gear because I have better gear, whenever a tier token drops I can’t roll because I have it, same with other items… So how can he roll on this when he obviously has better gear too? He had the same weapon just fully upgraded and 636 weapon which is mythic if I’m not mistaken.

There must be a way to at least report this, it’s basically griefing, vendoring gear just because ruining my chance to get upgrade? What is the logic in this behavior? Just because he wasn’t satisfied with 5k… I would leave this alone but since I can’t roll on gear I have, why could he?

There’s nothing to report.

Players are free to roll on items thay may get through the need/greed system. If its in their bags, they can further trade it away, use it themselves, sell it as despicable as it may seem, disenchant it on the spot and get some worthless purple thing at the moment and so forth.

Yeah I realize this, but why can he roll on it when I can’t roll on anything that I already have? Just seems like it’s a flawed system and not intended to be this way. Kind of weird that someone who has full mythic gear can need on items but I can’t even though I only have hc wont you agree?
