Ninja Looters

Why cant Blizzard just reinstate the personnal loot, people are just fed up with ninja looters items they either dont need or are taking them for transmog, personally ive been trying for the 2h mace from LFR and normal for about 6 weeks now and again earlier…ninja looted by a player from EmeralDream…come on Blizz its ur fault this is happening now sort it out…there was nothing wrong with the loot rules as they were why change it knowing its going to lead for ninja looters and transmog thief’s

I don’t get it why you think that a person who attended the same raid as you did, and who killed the same boss that you did, doesn’t have the same rights to loot an item he or she needs (even if it’s for transmog)…?

What are the criteria that make you better than them?

How was it ninja looted? They rolled higher than you, that makes it theirs.

Or do you believe you have a divine right to it?

So people with 410-420 ilvl join your LFR raid, help you have a clean and flawless run, but instead of seeing this as a win, you focus on their roll for transmog.
One day I really hope you get a full raid of clueless 350 ilvl newbies and wipe until you leave so you show more respect to experienced players.

Have to agree, really.

Sure, I may find it annoying when on a low geared alt and someone with +30 ilvls in that slot wins a roll. However, I recognise that this game also operates on, hate to say it, transmog collecting. That player probably pulled far above their weight, possibly carried the raid.

And I say this as someone who’ll take a 415 healer into LFR looking for transmog, so I have seen this from both sides. I will 1-button literally 40% of the total healing, and roll on the transmog. Deny me that and you can struggle on with massively reduced healing and a lot of determination buffs. Good luck killing Raz without any overgeared transmog hunters :joy_cat:

And the thing is; it doesn’t matter. Personal loot just means the server rolls for you and you don’t get to see who you were in competition with. The bosses never dropped any MORE than the usual 4-5 items we get now. There is no difference in the outcome, it’s just that we see “other person win with an 85” and get pissy because they “didn’t need to roll”. Under the old rules, they would have had no choice BUT to roll, the server forced them, hid all the numbers, and told you who won.

(Yes it was absolutely possible to clear LFR in Shadowlands and get no loot at all. Did it a few times. Got quite salty about it.)

It’s not even about high geared players completing LFG, it’s about common sense. If a person queued for LFG, that means they need something from this level of difficulty, and I really don’t understand people who think that they are more special than the others, and thus they have an exclusive right for an item.

Because Need before Greed that’s why.

Gear Progression = Need

Transmog = Greed.

That’s an interesting scientific approach (no).
What do I care for someone else’s gearing if I need a piece for a tmog? You suggest I forget about the item and give it away to anyone who is “gearing”, cuz obviously there will always be someone who is gearing.
I’m not less of a player than the ones who farm gear, and it has nothing to do with greed.

Tmogs can be farmed when the content isn’t relevant. They’ll still be there for your collection.

Who are you to determine when I should and when I shouldn’t get what I want for my character? I can return the favour and recommend you doing m0 instead of LFR if you wanna gear. But that’s not how it works.

If I need something for transmog how am I a ninja?

Blizzard disagree, as do all the higher geared people carrying the raid but wanting transmog.

Usually there’s about 1-3 carriers in a given LFR run. There is a relatively low chance that any given item will go to one of them vs someone for whom the gear is an upgrade, but they are literally doubling the numbers and making the bosses die. If you deny them transmog rolls they will just not be there and you can enjoy wipe after wipe, hoping the tanks don’t get bored and leave you stuck for 20 mins until the next one arrives.

Greed, in my personal definition, is vendoring for gold. Anything else is a valid reason to need it.

I’m not doing any favors. Simply hinting you to not be selfish and arrogant towards players who want to upgrade their gear via LFR.

Collectibles simply shouldn’t be an option to need on. Wait your turn.

Once again: I’m not going to LFR to help someone gear their char (that’s just a happy coincidence) but for my own reason. I’m a player. I play this game (just like those who gear via LFR), I spend my time on different activities, including LFR. Just like all other people in LFR. And you being lower in gear doesn’t give you exclusive rights to own an item that drops from a boss, cuz in terms of LFR (and the game in general) you and I are in the same boat - we both play it. And you calling me “selfish” for not wanting to share an item we both need only cuz we need it for different reasons doesn’t make you any good.

A level 60 suggests me to level… Ironic.

you are simple as that people NEED stuff from lfr an muppets go there to Knick stuff for transmog make your own group and go run a normal for gear and leave LFR people alone

I’m glad you understand this.
You need it for gear, I need it for tmog. We both roll it. Period.

Group Loot needs to go! You cant roll for transmog. It is pure fail from Blizzard side.

Meh, I can’t really be bothered to argue this point for the 100th time.

This is a game of progression not vanity.

That’s all. Stop being toxic and holding people back.

Good night.
