Don’t we normally get an achievement for simply logging into the game when the Anniversary Event starts?
I’ve gotten mine every year since I started playing WoW in 2010 - kind of a tradition I guess and sad not to see it this year…

Well the reward in 2010 was better then now haha, what a joke…

Yeah, I was thinking about that earlier, but we arent actually there yet its just the event started earlier. I am sure we will get our usual achieve and firework package in the mail when the time comes.
Kinda felt this aswell. Not that I recall what we got 2010 but this event feels lackluster to say the least. But that is just my opinion. I will get my tierset for evoker but after that im done lol.
Well now that I think about it, I think in 2010 we only had the achiev lol. Bear in 8? whelp in 9 but maybe I am wrong. But for 20 yrs they really should have given something imo, even if it was a small pet. And especially in a time when a large part of their playerbase lost thousands of items from their gb 
Just checked on wowhead and there aren’t any Feats on either the live or PTR pages. Pity, as I was hoping we’d get a 20% xp/rep buff (or at least on the anniversary date), but my thoughts are summarised from a wowhead comment:
As others have stated - it’s annoying this isn’t a one time warband buff. Didn’t we get a straight 19% rep buff last year? Now they’re making us work for the extra 10%.
Thank you for the reports about the missing Feat of Strength for logging in during the 20th Anniversary. We have remedied this situation and players will start to see that achievement start to pop up later today as they log in.

Logged in this morning and nothing popped yet… unlikely to be over the weekend now, fingers crossed for early next week. Feel naked without my Anniversary Feat of Strength!

Haha, yes. We used to get a celebration package everyone was looking forward to every year. In 2011, we even got the VanCleef Costume Set in the celebration package (costs 200 tokens today), we got a pet once, toys, whatever. It actually felt like an anniversary - until this year. Today we get nothing and have to grind for every little bit for days or weeks. At this point, I don’t even know why we’re doing this anymore.
