Just came here to ask if anyone else is having this issue. I have been to every trainer I can find and none will allow me to progress past 225 Leatherworking. I have checked everything over an over all to no avail.
@Zadeth: You are above level 35, so that can not be the problem… I scoured the net a bit… Do you have any recollection of any quest relating to leatherworking, possibly even called “Artisan leatherworking” or something similar?
None of the trainers have offered a quest. I have been to them all, both pre and post specialisation.
I’m pretty sure it’s something like them removing the Feralas trainer training it and forgot to add it to the city trainers.
to my knowledge the only quests were the “specialisation” ones otherwise it was a simple jaunt to Feralas to see the trainer there for Artisan and she atm seems to be suffering amnesia

I’m pretty sure it’s something like them removing the Feralas trainer training it and forgot to add it to the city trainers.
@Zadeth: Sorry about not being able to help… and since we do not have access to Outland yet, going to an even higher level trainer is not an option for now.
I can confirm as Alliance player, Exodar or Hinterlands trainer doesnt train past 225+ even with Elemental LW.
When I learned Smith with my boosted character I was seeing the red option for Artisan Blacksmithing, but the Leatherworking dude is really not showing it in OG… really seems like they forgot to add it to them
Same problem here with Leatherworking, cant go past 225. Also missing 2 recipes as of now. Thick Armor Kit and Dark Leather Boots.
Same problem, I even went to the Tanaris gnome house for the change of specilization. So i think is a bug. Also checked some trainers and none of them teach them.
clearly at this point blizz dont want people to be LW in TBC lol
Can confirm - EU Lakeshire Alliance here. Checked every leatherworking trainer at Stormwind, Ironforge, Darnassus, Hinterlands and even Feralas. No one trains beyond 225 and I also missing 2 recipes -> Thick Armor Kit and Dark Leather Boots.
Looks like the skill has been removed form the hinterlands trainer but not added to the city trainers again.
Edit: Forgot to mention that the character trying to learn the skill was boosted today - if this is somehow important.
Same issue, tried all the horde trainers. Even tried getting elemental leatherworking and then going back to trainers. Nothing.
Not a boosted character.
I came here because I boosted a character to 58 who already had 150/150 tailoring.
But NO trainer will offer me the option to train further?!!
All of you only talk about 225+ but it IS an issue for lower training as well.
This need fixing asap - super frustrating to be stuck on a profession now that I have been SO excited to work on them in prepatch :-/
Same issue horde side, visited grom’gol feralas specialised dude in badlands and TB with no joy
Same, Horde boosted 58 and looks like i cannot train 225+ as well no one is selling the skill “Thick Armor Kit”
Same on EU Golemagg. No Artisan skill on lw…
How do we make @Blizzard aware??

How do we make @Blizzard aware??
hope someone checks the forums even though it’s been posted on EU and NA for over 14 hours
So far leveling Engineering seems to be working. I got myself up to artisan and no missing recipes as of yet.
Got 300 no issues
I am once again asking for you to fix this.
