No Artisan Trainer

I am currently 225 skill in LW and lvl 52, but i can’t learn Artisan level LW. Been to every major city trainer and to Hahrana Ironhide in Feralas, but nobody is teaching it.
Is it a bug or am i missing something…

You now need to choose a ‘specialization’ and go to a unique NPC for whichever you choose.
Dragonscale specialization is in Azshara or Badlands for horde for ex.
Google LW specialization guide and it should help you find the right place.

Will try to do that, thank you.

I can only guess that its a bug due to the TBC changeover then. Just to double check, you have been to see all 4 trainers?

“In Burning Crusade Classic, you can learn Journeyman, Expert, and Artisan Leatherworking from trainers in every major city. You don’t have to visit different trainers anymore.”

Horde:

  • Kamari in Orgrimmar.
  • Dan Golthas in Undercity.
  • Mak in Thunder Bluff.
  • Lynalis in Silvermoon City.

I don’t have anything else to suggest sry.

I have checked Org, TB, UC, Silvermoon and the legacy Artisan trainer in Feralas (both before and after taking a specialisation) and none offer it.

@Realjudge: I need to doublecheck… but if 1-75 was journeyman, 76-150 expert and 151-225 artisan… are you not actually looking for a master trainer for 226-300? scratches head Sorry, not feeling well, head hurts and a bit confused…

Yea i am talking about 225-300. 1-75 is Apprentice, 76-150 is Journeyman, 151-225 is expert and above that is Apprentice. I checked UC also. Same issue.
I tried available, unavailable and learned filters and it still doesn’t show. When i go to learned tab it shows my previous skills (Journeyman, Expert…) but no artisan.

Artisan is 225-300, master is 300+

Isn’t the alliance one in Hinterlands and the horde one is Feralas?

@Dottie, Cavol: Oh yes, I forgot the apprentice level. I am going to look at something, just a moment or two, need to do a bit of ingame running around.

In Vanilla, yes. TBC changes it to any city trainer. Yet none of them, including the original in Feralas, offer it (Horde side at least).

@Cavol, Zadeth: Hmmm… Could you two check, if your filter settings have gotten messed up? In other words, are you absolutely sure you have not, possibly by bug or accident, a situation where some training is not visible, even though it might be available?

I am absolutely sure.

This is driving me nuts now and i don’t even have LW :D.
It can only be one of two things.

  1. A bug.
  2. A conspiracy.

My money is on #2.

@Zadeth: And in terms of trainer recipes… everything above 226 is also missing?

No. The recipes are there, you just can’t train beyond 225.

@Zadeth: So there are a bunch of red trainer recipes, but no possibility of training. Sounds more and more like a bug.

Correct. The recipes for 230 → 300 are there, you just can’t learn Artisan and go beyond 225 skill.
