Why do people not get banned for griefing soloshuffle but the people that say “mean words” to those griefers receive all kinds of bans and restrictions.
For example had the same priest which I am not allowed to name because blizzard doesnt allowed it. Run in die without using a single spell and die 6 rounds in a row. I had this guy for 6 games now in my lobbies. Why is this allowed? When confronted he trolls and says I am just bad at the game.
Absolutely insane to have a 40min queue for something like this.
its hard to detect griefers in SS.
Because moderating griefers isn’t something you can automate.
Because unless they explicitly say in chat that they are going to grief and sabotage you, it is very difficult/impossible for Blizzard to determine whether they a) griefed or b) just played horrifically. If someone says they will do it, report their message.
I’m assuming with the ‘gameplay sabotage’ report function action is only taken after an accumulation of a TON of reports (cus of spiters/tilted people etc).
Easier to just get them to self-report by saying their intentions and getting your lobby to report them. Incredibly easy to get banned for messages, very hard to get banned for your gameplay.
You don’t get such clowns too often in lobbies, it happens, report them and continue.
I had a priest for example tonight, we lost the first round I told him to not use swap on me to save me, I have 2 IceBlocks he got mad for some reason I don’t remember exactly what he said, second round he didn’t use any PainSupression on our dps who was being trained, the guy naturally died. Now I am sure 100℅ pain supression is not a spell that one can forget about using, it was 100℅ intentional. I didn’t bother reporting but could’ve.
Such things happen but rarely, there was no other griefers in lobbies I played. Sometimes you get unlucky.
Because its simple.
You cant prove they knew any better,
In ToS a under 12 year old is allowed to play on their parents account, which means for all u know that fellow priest was a 6 year old.
Welcome to why automated queues arent a good thing, no regulations, no power in terms to who you play with and ur thrown in with anyone.
This is ironically a accurate occurance of “you think you want it.”
