It’s only useful in raiding and everywhere else it’s crap especially pvp. 5 seconds is simply way too long between application and damage, and you won’t buff it to the point it’s worth taking that risk because then it would be op in raids. I’m not sure why it can’t be instant like war execute unless it’s some weird class fantasy reason that dk has to be clunky. Another option is to make it a 5 second dot that ticks every second as long as the target is below 35% hp.

Or it could explode with huge dmg when target reaches 35% hp
agree, i tried soul reaper in pvp couple of times in my burst instead of grabby hands, and only 1 out of 10 times did i went off and still felt like a wet noodle.
Hot take but I like it, I think the damage is nice when your ramped (40k+) crits for 70 - 80k for me on average, but its very hard to use ngl and I find the runic corruption buff a little idk, boring I suppose.
It can be nice kill pressure but abom limb is so much easier to use.
