No 'blonde' option for Void Elves?

i saw this topic on reddit:

Now there we can change the skin color, why no new hair colors? Escpecially blonde would be a nice option. Nothing better than a blue-eyed and blonde-haired high elf, besides dwarves.

because its not VEs turn to get any new customisations yet. maybe at one point in sl they will, maybe they wont and it will be after sl. we dont know that yet.

right now the focus lies on the core races as it should be.

it was an exception that VEs got anything at all.

If void elves get blonde hair then blood elves should get void elf skin colours.

I did care but your comment was not well constructed.

“anything at all”? They got a serious buff in options, basically making it so that VE’s can now look like BELFS, but on alliance.

Also you just could have answered the OP’s question with one simple sentence: there will be blonde VE’s in prepatch. Simple, no?

i said anything at all because its more than what other allied races have gotten right now, which is nothing.

if i did that, i would be lying, cause there wont be. nowhere does it state that they will receive new hair colours. did you even read the article you linked to me?

right now, even with shadowlands options, void elves wont look exactly like blood elves because of hair colour.
if you find any credible souce out there which says they re getting new haircolours then please link it. thank you.

Allied races will receive new customization in 9.1 and beyond. Void Elf blue eye colors and skin tones are an exception because you can’t imagine the outrage the forums would have if they just announced blue eyes for Blood Elves. Wait for 9.1 and we will get new hairstyles, earrings, jewelry, hair colors, ear lengths and other stuff. I’m personally hoping for more “voidy” stuff since I’m more interested in corrupted appearance.

Before any additional hair colour what I’d like to see is regular hair styles for the void abominations, something like NE to toggle on/off their tentacles. Because having tentacles coming out of your hair is ugly af, Blizzard…

im sure allied races in general will get more customisation options in the future but theres very little information to go around right now so we have to wait and see. :slight_smile:
