I am wondering if this is a widespread issue or just that I was unlucky.
I killed the LK and the boss was so lagged out that he stood stationary the entire period. Using abilities was a bit press and pray because of the lag.
The biggest issue for me was when he died I didn’t get any loot. Anyone else finding this or was it just a one off for me?
I appreciate that. When I did the it in the middle of the night when the change went live I had no problems.
Just wondering if anyone else had the same problem.
There have been a number of complaints here on the forum about the lag and not receiving loot. This was pre the changes. Then if you read the blue post carefully they kinda elude to that this is to be expected but not to worry as you should be able to retry the boss within in that hour and hope for the best.
It got fixed on my side.

I have the same issue. LK is the only boss that doesn’t give me loot, tried again with the prepatch fix and it’s still the same for me.

I have had this issue once, with Ragnaros. However, there wasn’t any lag.
I had it late last night on Lich King after the new changes went through. It’s pretty annoying that the modern game can’t really seem to handle any kind of gameplay scenario that involves a semi-large group of players. It’s hardly a satisfying MMO experience.
A friend and I haven’t been getting loot or currency from Lich King yesterday and still none today. The two other bosses did drop loot/RM.
I have had lag at all three bosses, but at least they went down in under ten minutes.
The lag seemed better today but still there. Killed the LK and I got loot but someone else commented they didn’t in chat so I don’t think it’s solved for everyone.
It happened 3 times to me, no loot. It’s not fun even If you can try later, but I figured that maybe I can just level up an alt so If I miss the loot at least I am still getting experience.
Not done LK yet, but Onyxia was really bad for lag for me. Playing an Affliction Warlock, the dots would finish before I could even use my Malefic Rapture spell.
Had major problems with Onyxia yesterday … when she bellowed (think that’s the spell) and we should all have been feared, the lag was so bad, we just remained standing there. Though we were all having an interesting conversation about dial-up internet and I think I had more conversation with people than I’ve had for a long long time (happily the chat didn’t seem to lag)
I did one with The Litch King today and didn’t get anything from it. The phase 1 events were fine but as soon as the boss spawned in phase 2 the lag became noticeable and once the boss was engaged it so bad it made it a struggle to get abilities off. I also noticed that the boss visuals for his remorseless winter casts were desynced by a few seconds.
The lag’s not as bad as I encountered on day 1 - but it’s still making the boss fights a pretty painful experience esp with the higher health.

It’s probably server lag from all those paladins on your account 
It has happened several times to me when it’s lagging to the point you can’t even do anything. Thought for sure people were gonna get mass disconnected when it was happening.
same here,three times ive done lk and not received any loot
I just had the same issue. Massive lag during the event in Dragonflight, no loot at the end of the Lich King fight. No currency, no memories. Fight took over 5 minutes because of the lag too…
