No level restriction for alt characters transmog

Is there any reasonable reason why alt characters can’t use all the transmog player have already unlocked since level 1?
Especially at a time when experienced player can choose any expansion and basically stick to it until level 48.
I’ve heard arguments like: it’s supposed to give players a sense of progression. What kind of progress in particular? One that forces the average players to rush to level 48 just to use the looks they’ve already earned? Thus ignoring a substantial part of the game. And then progress through the Shadowlands, which frankly everyone is fed up with.
Not everyone is necessarily rushing to the end game content. I believe some people would like to enjoy the game without unnecessary restrictions that ultimately make no sense. Because once a player reaches the maximum level, he/she can hardly claim to start all over again with a new character. (Heirlooms and so on…)

I propose to allow acquired transmog without level restriction for alt characters. Those who don’t want it don’t have to use it. The rest of us might enjoy it

No ones forcing you to rush. Take it easy. Enjoy the game.

But from my understanding its only really current expansion Appearances that are locked above a certain level (maybe BFA as well, but it doesn’t affect me that much as I enjoy the game play).

I have no issue with Transmog restrictions. I just go along with what I have and enjoy myself playing.

Yeah it’s only really Shadowlands that’s restricted, and the whole expansion has like maybe 5 or so good transmog pieces.

I understand I don’t have to rush. My point is that I would enjoy the game more with the possibility of using all the transmog I already have unlocked from the first level. For a given class, of course.

I understand what you’re saying. There have been times I’ve wanted to transmog something onto my Banking Alt, and realised that it’s locked away behind a level cap. It just means I have to think more creatively.

But on the other hand. It would be strange to be running Freehold at Level 10, with someone in full SotF Mythic Tier set.

I understand. On the other hand, the question is whether levels matter too much. If a person is using a character purely for banking purposes, it doesn’t matter too much what level they are imo.
And the rest of the characters will eventually go out into the world anyway i guess.
Moreover, at level 10 one can already transmog quite interesting gear.

Actually, I miss the days when I used to kit out my banker in rare White items. Like Diamond Tipped Cane, and Nobles Monocle etc etc… Thats what was having a true bank alt was about.

Trasnmog level restrictions on Shadowlands gear will be removed once PrePatch launch because Shadowlands will be available for levels 10-60
