Was in contact with the support through the game but they were unable to help me. I was asked to submit a bug-report but that doesnt seem to be an available option on the EU site.
Well to the issue at hand. I found and killed the Time lost proto drake but did not get any loot. The GM says that there are no logs of my kill which is quite impossible since I myself used the dangerous hands of my monk to kill it. I have screenshots of it being dead with the red healthbar, but I am not able to attach that to the ticket.
What on earth is going on. Why would I try to go after a mount if Im not even sure that I will be able to loot the corpse even.
This actually happened to me years ago way back in 2014.
What happened in my case as I eventually realised was that although I had tagged it and the health bar was red for me, another player had actually hit it a split second before me. A fraction.
They got the loot.
Are you 100% sure someone didn’t get it before you? Perhaps a sneaky Rogue, or Druid?
What ever the reason is here if it can’t be confirmed they won’t give you the item. I’ve heard many cases over the years of GMs issuing people the reins but only after they have confirmed the tag and kill by that specific player.
Your best bet instead of writing a bug report — as there most likely isn’t a bug here, because others have looted the reins recently, even a friend of mine — is to just get on with farming and eventually it will spawn again and you will get it.
