No more char customizations in Dragonflight? Please reconsider, Blizz!

That’s such a dumb take.
They’re putting LOADS of time and resources into customization; dracthyr.

The problem is; that race is limited to just 1 class. So they’re pouring all this time and all these resources into something very, very niche. Which is not good.

So… they’re still spending lots of time on customization and at the same time ‘it looks like we’re going to have a fun game to play’. Your argument makes no sense.

I agree that many races could use more/better options. Several Allied Races are severly lacking in that department.

Ion’s words did come across to me differently though: They’re not planning on doing customization for other races for DF launch. I don’t believe he said and/or meant they won’t do it throughout the lifespan of the expansion.

Totally disagree.

Putting that time into 1 race/class which fits the theme of not just a singular content patch, but the entire expansion, makes complete sense.

Working on older races means that they would need to work on older themes, which have nothing to do with the current content makes no sense, especially when the work load is this large.

So making customisations for new Dragon Race during a Dragon Themed expansion, is a great idea. Add new Hairstyles and Tattoos for Void Elves, whilst trying to create Dragon themed expansion makes no sense what-so-ever. It’s a distraction if anything.

So, No new customisations for races is needed in 10.0. They shouldn’t even consider it until 10.0.5 at the earliest, but I think 10.1.5 is the best time for them to add stuff.

Let the get the game good first, before they add the bonus stuff.

Tell me… What do larger or smaller ears have to do with the entire expansion’s theme’?
What do different body sizes have to do with it?
Multi coloured hair?
Hairstyles?

Etc.

Distracting huh? You have such a weird view on things.

Them working on one thing or another doesn’t mean ANYTHING for the other teams working on their parts of the expansion.
And of course a new race needs new stuff. That’s a given.
And of course a new class needs new spell effects, skill animations etc. Of course.

But that’s not what you claimed.
You claimed that working on character customizations is at the expense of the game overal.

Well… That’s just pure nonsense.

Disagree.
I know they won’t do any. They’ve made that clear.
But for some races it’s definitely needed. It’s needed RIGHT NOW.

I just want them to keep adding new customizations. That’s all.
And not spend all their time on a race that can literally be 1 class only. That’s just SUCH an enormous waste of time.

Sure, but part of what ‘makes the game good’ for me is having lots of cool customization options for the characters I play.
