A guildie and I both detested the “cracking some nuts” world quest from Legion. That female worgan and her “sqrrrls” (squirrels). We used to wind each other up by saying that. It’s like nails down a chalkboard.
I’m not sure if its intentional by Blizz (if so kudos) but if the voice actor is expecting some kind of medal for realism then I’m worried.
Quick Question, is there any clue in Mary Poppins to say where it’s actually based. I’ve worked answering calls on a helpline and I can say with my hand on my heart, there are odder accents out there than Dick van Dykes.
Edit: btw has anyone else noticed the “replying…” thing next to “This topic will close a month after the last reply.”?
I get where you are going with this, but do you think its that bad? I mean I didn’t really cared that much when the whole Nothrend/Howling Fjord was a bad Scandinavian accent.
Yea, I just edited my post. I didn’t mean Arthas the character, but the NPC’s around Howling Fjord and lots of the whole ‘theme’ around that expansion. Names, people that kind of stuff. It was my mistake
DUnno what’s worse - Black Country or Hull (East Yorks). I’m guessing the Brummie/Blackcountry accent is only beaten (in badness) by the scousers accent lol.
We could have people from Hull in the game except most people would need subtitles. My family moved to Coventry for the car industry in the 60s then moved back to Hull.
I’m just waiting for Agros to deliver my new TV, my old one died with a awful sound, thank god for same day delivery.
