Trying to progress is painful as resto druid. I have slightly above 2300 in m+ and it can take over an hour to get a group of chain signing on more or less every key at 8-10s. Heck i get rejected in 6-7s as well “rshamman only” Same goes for Raiding last 2 bosses on HC or any mythic boss “Sorry we dont take resto druids”.
Anyone else experience this?

The only way people will take my druid is when I’m tanking atm. Thats why I gave up resto at the start of the expansion.

Yeah they seem great for tanking, but resto druid is the one thing im enjoying in wow haha. have tried every class through the years and this is it x) Remember i had the same issues back in the day when i played a lot of feral “Feral is junk, wanna be rogue with no damage”… I guess ill just have to wait and see how blizz tunes em over the upcomming month or two
They buffed up overall HPS nearly %20 now and it is now starting to be slithly less hairly to not have all HOTS on all people. That is how much work it takes now.
Those guardian treant things that spam healing are not my thing but i use them every once in a while.
Ive been a druid since 2010. I shelved them all. All 5 of them. I made rshammy. One simple little passive totem drop does as much it seems as all hots a redruids can spam.
I know at higher keys missing hots can be tricky and dangerous. But the hots itself are not even doing it now as i am now spamming regrowth to top them up in addition to all the hots i have on.
I changed from a wowhead recipe to an icy veins one and that seems to work better but i had to give things up in order to get things back that i have worked with forever. Like soothe. We are expected to get rid of rage if we can. It is not basline so we have to sacrifice something.
Rdruid was always work, always casting but now even our hots are simply not good enough enymore.
I think i am gonna sheve all my druids. All i play is druids. I find them fun and versatile. Good for herbing. Well, they were good for herbing . Now that we have a new flight system herbign is not even fun anymore. YOu have to choose between watching a bar fill or go really slow. Hardly fun.
I am at 1600 ingame rio and starting 5’s. I am still lucky to be picked i supose but i have done all keys in all dungeons in order. 1 then 2 then 3 then 4 ect…for all dungeons. So if i apply for a 5 then they can see that ive done a 4 which improves my chances.
So many people now are wanting healers to do 5’s when they themselves have not done anyting but a 0 or 2 on their toons. Sorry mate. I wont heal that. Show me you can do a 4 first and then ill apply.
I am not doing many keys now cos of that. I see people in 5’s not doing mechanics so that just ticks me off. I worked my rear end off to get wher ei am and here they are doign 5’s as dps and failing.
Yeah, we have it hard.
I played most of my time today doing outlaw rogue class hall stuff in legion today. I am playing old content cos the new one is pretty stressfull and has a lot of people that just want carries. No thank you.
