Blizzard probably knows they are overtuned, they have always taken X week or X days to gather data and analyze what they should do.
They can’t just go " 20% nerf to every source of DMG on BM "
Be calm and do something else if it feels unplayable for you.

I don’t know if they’ve changed the way they intervene in certain “out of control” situations, I remember that at the beginning of DF the demonology was objectively absurd in terms of damage and resistance and was hot fixed very quickly
While then they left the DH live for practically 3 seasons who was a raid boss xd

Demo were hidden OP what I know from the getgo. Got alot more views after 10.0.7 with ret rework overflowing every bracket. After some ret nerfs, rets were still the best AND demo locks.
Demo + ret were one of very few actual options for high endgame comps before S1 ended. Quite clearly showed on both ladders + AWC.
DHs were basically almost left untouched for the entire S3.
sure, lets nerf hunters again. There is literally 0 playeble specs after that. MM nerfed to the ground, you cant do anything on Arenas, barely anything on RGBs. Survival is broken, and even if they fix it you need to change WHOLE gear, white MM can switch to BM and vice versa.
I agree BM hunters quick powerful, but today I met rogues and demolock, they are as powerful as BM hunters, not to say Devokers still one of the strongest classes, with as little buttons as possible.
I remember that the spec (which I use from shadowlands) was objectively too exaggerated in everything, and within a short time they significantly downsized it with hot fixes. It remained very strong even afterwards, but I meant that it was really exaggeratedly strong before and they intervened without waiting weeks or months.
On DH I remember that out of 10 posts on the forums, at least 8 were nerf requests for a spec that was absolutely out of control for at least two seasons
I dont remember that. I only remember demo being sleepy S tier for majority of S1 and just started to shine even harder as ret + demo comp. Barely touched until S2.
DH were mostly spams in S3-4. Mostly S3 due to how strong they were and pretty close to immortal while DH mains kept spamming “we die in a stun” while reality were entirely different.
Its just sad when ppl keep defending their main spec for dumb reasons. Related to any spec which is overperforming.
Some specs are just toxic by nature, which in one way could be “fixed/nerfed” and compensated in other parts of it.
Kinda like defending retri in retocalypse when everyone could see its overtuned beyond reason and some as you included were defending it lol
