When I switched covenants I did not recieve any Redeemed Souls and I need them to be able to continue my campaign so I am stuck right now.
Tried everything - delete and retake quest - talk to multiple npcs but nothing helped.
Right now I am on quest Enhancing the Hold -> cannot complete due to not having the redeemed souls.
In my case I switched covenant from Venthyr to Kyrion and it was still when I had O/9 complete.

Any Anima and Redeemed Souls you rescued stay with the previous Covenant. However, if you switch Covenants you will be granted 5 new Redeemed Souls to allow you to complete the quest Enhancing the Hold.
If you didn’t receive the 5 souls, return to the covenant hall and skip the tutorial. Next time you enter the hall or next time you zone into Oribos you will see the 5 Souls granted and you will be able to complete Enhancing the Hold.

sadly nothing works. I tried everything you wrote and still did not recieve 5 souls. Problem probably is that I did not finish even the first part of the quest chain so there was no skip option when I changed covenant and this seems like why it is bugged for me and I am stuck.
I tried to delete quest and retake quest. Also tried to talk to NPCs and tried to enter hall multiple times. Nothing works.

i dont have skip option. so now i have to wait for reset before i can continue playing new expansion ?
sadly this fix is not working and alot of players are still stuck on 0/9 chapters and unable to obtain their redeemed souls, can you please give us an update? my ticket has been open for 30 hours now, with no response, i understand that its busy times but this is interfering with peoples game play and extremely frustrating to us only 2 days into a new expansion. ( not trying to kill the messenger here ) but any kind of reassurance or update would be a step in the right direction.

The issue is when you receive the redeemed souls on one covenant and fail to upgrade to mission table or whatever else before switching. There not completing 1/9 story line and not being able to skip the maw/torghast intro. When on the new covenant it puts you after the maw questline and voiding the 5 redeemed souls that are supposed to drop 2 quests previous in the questline of Enhancing the Hold. The quest is return to adrestes and its skipped when switching covenants but the currency is also voided.
This is exactly the problem we need to fix. Please look into it.

hey do you only have the quest enhancing your hold? i cant complete that quest and have no other active quests, cant even get into torghast or anything, got to 170ilvl but i wabt my counduits and soulbinds as im falling behind now, 30 hours waiting on my ticket and counting!
I can confidently 100% agree with you that this is where the problem roots from.
In regards to the many of us still having issues.
