The whole point of the patch is that N’zoth is trying to make you lose your sanity. Split personality seems to be his most effective weapon in that regard as it’s clearly working irl!

You would too if you’re going at it really well first time trying 5 masks, no orbs used while I’ve only got rexxar left, cheat death procced due to stuff going bad in the other zone. The pack before rexxar I get knocked into the split personality, then I get stunned then I get feared right as the stun is about to end and run out of bound and then get stunned again by the poison and lose all the sanity.

Yeah, I think we all have stories about how split personality has drove us nuts by destroying our runs! I wonder if they’d ever think of using something like split personality as mythic plus affixes… Wait no! I said nothing! Please don’t see this and take that as an idea Blizz!

Thats why you save your immunity for if you are going to get knocked into it (although probably wanted to save it for rexxar)

Or wait for it to proc then engage mobs. You wouldn’t be waiting too long for it to proc.

DO NOT GIVE THEM IDEAS LIKE THIS PLEASEEE! Could you imagine sanguine + split personality as an affix? :grimacing:

You have bubble…

Hunters ‘aspect of the turtle’ allows you to run through it without being disorientated. If split procs on rexxar i pop turtle, run to the other side of the arena then carry on. Bubble will do the same

Tbh as I mainly play casters split personality isn’t too bad for me… It’s worst in Stormwind when the only “exit” is blocked by walls! But in m+ it would be a nightmare indeed… Or paired with volcanic or anything else you need to move away from… Ouch!

You’re posting on a pally with no mention of being on a different class. Ofc we assume you were on your pally.

Point still stands. wait for it to proc before engaging mobs.

Yeah, because the mobs before Rexxar have the knock back and the stun, it’s worth taking care and waiting a little longer so that they don’t cause trouble. We’re all too used to “rush rush rush” and trying to go as fast as we can… Need to take the Pandaren approach sometimes!

Position yourself properly so you won’t get knocked back into the void, getting knocked into the void is your own fault, not blizzard’s.

I don’t mind split personality that much, it gives me a lot of time to plan the counterplay. I dislike tier 2 affixes much more: Burrowing Appendages + scorched feet is terrible, the one that forces me to jump is very annoying too, it’s already very hard to cast anything even without that.

Split personality isn’t difficult. It’s just there to piss you off, just like Eddy in Tekken 3.
