Am I tripping or was there a char transfer possible one time?
I am curious if it will come back only at a certain point or do they never offer any services with SoD or Classic Era and only for Cataclysm?
I am on a PvE server but I was thinking to move to PvP.
Only fcm… and who knows when that is open. Check the shop located at char menu to see if up or not.
However i dont think they ever let ppl transfer from pve to pvp… only the other way around

There is NOTHING there. Not even char rename or anything. Ever
Not on ERA not on SoD…
Specific realms may have Free Character Migration available, but otherwise Paid Character Transfer is disabled.
Sorry I have no clue what those terms mean. I can only gues but dont know for sure.

Basically you won’t be able to pay for transfer on era and SoD.
And very little to no chance to transfer from PvE to PvP. They allowed free migration at one point when they opened the 2 megaservers (LivingFlame and Wild Growth - One PvP and one PvE) but that’s it.
If you want to play on a PvP server you’re gonna have to level a new char.
i dont even care if its pvp or pve, I just want a server with a lot of people. Thats why I mentioned the pvp server, since that one has twice the players. No idea why. Guess it was there first.
