No Turbo Boost for Casuals. WHY Blizzard?

Not going to argue with you about this as i have done my research end of convo not interested with a slanging match with you somebody i usually respect and agree with.

I had forgotted about this, yes it did originally appear to be a bug.

Also idk, it’s always funny when Tah defends decisions with “Well Blizzard did it so it’s good” until they do something they don’t agree with and suddenly Blizzard are a morally reprehensible organisation.

Isnt that what alot of people tends to do these days? Or have done for quite awhile now?
Blizzard can do 50 good things in the game and be called “best game in the world”.
Now if they make 1 bad decision (according to them) then its “the worst game in the world” and everyone should quit/vote with the wallet.

Its why I absolutely hate wowhead comments and its slowly starting to get the same feel even on the forums here.

I have less of a criticism of that, people are fickle as a collective and while it’s unfortunate it’s kinda whatever.

It’s when someone flip flops between “You cannot criticise this decision I approve of because Blizzard knows best for their game” and “Blizzard are terrible uncaring and unjust because of this change that I don’t like”.

It just feels incredibly intellectually dishonest and hypocritical.

That’s what players do in general; so try not to make this personal.
Cheers.

Of course I care about MY fun first. Duh.

No that’s nonsense.
I never said you can’t criticise anything.

You can believe ‘change A’ to be good for the game overal and for ‘change B’ to negatively impact a specific part of playerbase. One does not negate the other, both are valid opinions.

Because the system is intended to help unlucky players who consistently do the content but get bad rolls, not to give everybody free loot.

That is not the case, I’ve been farming Araz/SoulHunters trinkets for months and still haven’t gotten any of them, it is not fair that a casual andy now comes, kills 4 LFR bosses and gets it essentially for free.

As I said previously, the requirement to get HC gear should be having cleared HC tier.

nice edit got mad because you got caught out

So its not valid unless other go through same bs as you? You do know how stupid that sounds, right? I dont mind people getting Invincible mount when the mount boost was on. I dont mind people gettin mogs easier that took me years. It just means more people can enjoy the game has to offer easier

Literally anyone can do normal mode at ilvl 670+, good god people, you’ll be fine.

Also, “I dont want to group up with people”, okay, then dont and dont have access to the event, this is an MMORPG.

That is what progression is about, if you are capable of clearing the content then your character will be stronger than somebody else’s character who isn’t capable of doing it.

Character progression is the main pillar of any RPG, if people can get the rewards without doing the content then there is no point, you may as well just go play on a private server and buy everything for 1 copper.

That’s my exact thought everytime I read your responses.

That’s not what it started out as.
And the first iteration of this system is still the best and most fun.
Free loot for everbody. Because that’s fun.

What is fun to you might not be fun for everybody, at least that’s my view on it.

I personally think the rewards should be account bound if anything, so you only have to do the difficulty once, be it for raiding or M+'s, but a lot of people seem to disagree on that, that’d be fun to me.

(sorry had to add something)

Sure, but you’ll have to admit that those first 2 versions of the dinars were generally very well received by the overal playerbase.

Like I said above, I think an account wide unlock would be pretty well received even from the LFR community, it might suck to do once, but at least it’s only once on normal mode and it’d be an account wide unlock.

I’m actually not quite sure I remember how the events happened in the past with the turbo boost as I did stop playing for quite a bit and played very short bits in S1/S2, I’m assuming you had LFR difficulty trinkets and weapons in exchange of the currency?

There were items you could upgrade all the way to 12/12.
I believe that for the last few levels you needed mythic drops though; so as someone who didn’t do that content, you still got stuff you could upgrade a fair bit. Better than ‘nothing’ like now.

That’s fair yeah, I mean they could at least make them be available to be upgradable to normal raid levels I would say, even if they dont go higher than that mode, it’d be better than nothing
