The best was the version we had in DF IMO. Just let everyone have fun for the final season instead of gating stuff.
Whats funny is while I’m not personally bothered by this it does seem strange because they enabled it for everyone last season.
Why do you want or even think you need bis or heroic gear if you are not planning on even normal raid or ANY lvl of m+ I get that it would be fun… but why this strong reaction to just not easily getting it if you aren’t looking to even try and get it to begin with unless it is easily given, and why even want it if you are only gonna do lfr anyway.
Last season they still gated Mythic.
As Blizzard should.
People all have their own ideas of what is and isn’t appropriate for end season, for me DF had it right.
Could collect plenty of mogs, and characters could just get some gear for the end of season that was pretty meaningless. Just fun time. Like how Remix is fun being overpowered.
Everyone has to re level and all the gear is meaningless in Midnight.
Exactly this, i am astounded at the amount of people who just can’t stand the point if people desire items that can only be obtained by playing something they do not wish to play or otherwise engage in.
I really hate raiding and we did do a normal run today just to be able to get the heroic track items from the manaforge raid so i can build something that performs as good as it can get.
I was also amazed that the unlock was only for that character only and didn’t include my alts.
I do NOT wish to be forced to play raids in any mode / setting / whatever, they are boring and time consuming and mediocre gameplay to me.
Please for the love of Azeroth, make a system where people can gather tokens like these dinars and let people buy / build their perfect builds without being forced to grind content in which you are not interested in?
I’m also still convinced that there should be sweat lord servers where these overachievers can go and flaunt their virtual vanity to eachother, and fun only servers where you’re not playing gacha bingo 24/7 against an unfair system.
What part of “Do the thing to get the thing” is unfair?
How dare you speak the language of „logic and facts“? We don’t do that here.
True but heroic gear in this was covered every level below it including lfr.
Like I said, I’m not bothered by it but Blizzard need some kind of consistency on their end.
And the quest last time explcitly stated normal or higher, and then gave LFR anyway.
So it seems more like they fixed a bug than anything else.
So then if that was the intention then whoever Blizzard had implementing that was simply incompetent.
I guess it’s the “sweat lords” servers for you then, and don’t forget to bring your circle jerk buddies as well.
I’m very happy where I am, thanks.
I guess I would like one of those OG armoured gladiator nether drakes, but I didn’t get gladiator in TBC. In fact I’ve never gotten gladiator in pvp, so it makes sense I don’t have those and it makes sense not to ask for them.
Casuals do get turbo boost. If you do the normal raid, which is incredibly easy, you can buy heroic items. It isn’t the same for those who have cleared heroic but don’t commit to a 2nd job (mythic raiding).
only 1 % matters sooner you learn that play remix and you see how much better it is.
No repair no wait timers ever difficulties is viable for all.
This is just my tinfoil gay idea so i could be completely wrong.
I think that the reason of this change is trying to motivate people that do not raid above LFR to try Normal and see how do they manage.
If I remember correctly MO has been designed with less needs of encounters addons. I guess they need more metrics for to make the raid encounters of Midnight with the idea that boss mods will be gone.
To me this seems the only logical thing.
Have they? This is the 4th implementation of this thong and all 4 have been different.
Eh kinda. His perspective is that the game should be designed around casuals so wanting cartel chips from LFR, does seem im line with “remove addons so casuals have an even footing” and “dont do anything about OBR in high end, because casuals use it”.
The hypocritical part is that he offered solutions for some of these issues, but refuses to use said solutions when they can fix his problem.
