Because it does what Blizzard has advertised it does? Act as an extra layer of RNG vendor for people still wanting to push keys or CE?
I cant really complain that this jar of pickles doesn’t have pineapples in it because the jar said it only has pickles in it?

Uhm cheers. But I had this transmog for months if not a year already. Its my “forum main”, doesnt get much use in-game…besides crafting JC stuff here and there.

They’ve created an expectation with their previous versions.
And with them now screwing over a considerable part of their playerbase, they’re going to have to take the heat.

And I’m on fire.

The event has a target audience nothing more to say on that logic and the outlook you have on things good luck to you.

Been something different for me until today how strange

No. You created an expectation that they “accidentally” put pineapples in before so they will surely repeat it again this time since S2 quest description didn’t say that you complete in LFR but you could. Didnt care about that “mistake” then and not throwing a fit now either when whey decided to “fix” it.

Oh by all means. Enlighten me how does a m+/raid “boost” event affects roleplayers, pure PvP guys, collectors and etc?
Go ahead, I will wait.

Yes. They did.
They 100% factually did.

And it wasn’t a mistake. The version before that included it too.
And before that too.

Stop defending the indefensible.

Ill answer that very simple question once you tell me what player in this game does not use or want gear and why an event only targets a specific audience and not the whole player base.

Read the quest description yourself from S2. It says normal and above.
Players themselves discovered that you can complete it in LFR and Blizzard didnt do anything about it.

Whenever you consider it as a “mistake” or not, is subjective.

Aren’t you a big fan of change, i mean you are all hyped for so many changes coming. why should we keep something in just because it was always there

I’m not just talking about last season; I’m talking about this system since its inception.
This is the first time that LFR is not included.

So again: Stop defending the indefensible.
Because even IF it was indeed a mistake last season, they still should not have ‘fixed’ it, seeing how many people appreciated it.

They’re actively making people mad. How is that good business??

Because not every person doesnt even want said gear to begin with?
What use does bis gear have for roleplayers besides visual?
What use does bis gear have collectors if everything in old raids melts in half a second anyway.
Sry Mac. Dinars where not the free loot pinnata as you were expecting them to be.

Nothing is indefensible or defensible but Blizzards design and they can as hell do what they want.
They can destroy every addon IF they want.
They can destroy any class IF they want.
Heck, they can shutdown the server tomorrow…IF they want.

You seem to think that Blizzard is bound by some “law” what they can or cant do with their own game.

No no, don’t exclude visuals. Visuals is a big part of roleplaying.
That’s like saying: We can play football, besides the ball.

Getting things NOW is better than getting things in 2-4 years.

You must have missed:

:dracthyr_shrug:

Gamers are emotional and “mad” always and everytime.
Blizzard cares what their financial analysts tells them not what some salty gamer is angreey about this time.

And I dont mean specifically you Tah, but in general.

it’s not, it’s we can play football, but you have to wear your normal shirt since you are not part of the Champions League

Can you imagine that never heard that before

Ye its odd change considering its been like this since Dragonflight so why remove it now

There’s a big difference between upsetting a fringe faction or the majority of the playerbase.

You are wrong for defending this change.
Sorry.

Since Shadowlands even.
