As far as I can tell via Battlenet there is no way anymore to view what edition my WoW accounts are. But I need to know which one of my accounts for sure are collector’s editions before I pay more money to sub to play Classic. I think I know which one, but it’s been a while.

I’ve just checked mine and I think you’re right. The only way I could work out to test it was to log onto a character on each account (any under level 20 character can be logged onto) and check achievements - feats of strength/promotions. This will tell you back as far as MoP

It seems ridiculously long-winded, but I can’t actually see another way at the moment.
The problem is I have a lot of accounts. I can’t afford to pay a sub for each one to find out which is the collector’s edition. And so far I’ve only gotten an unhelpful response after hours of waiting (added below) and completely ignoring my request for them to tell me which account has the col edition on it.
I also checked the active account’s achievements and the feats of strength are there ofc with the dates, but no info on the account that activated them.
It is incredibly short sighted for Blizz to remove this type of account information, but hey what else is new?

I am here about your issue regarding the Classic WOW and collector’s edition pets.
As an added suprise for players who owned the original WOW Collector’s edition, upon creating a character and logging in a voucher can be found in the character’s inventory allowing the beginning of a quest to reward one of the 3 collector’s edition pets.
This is only available to the original WOW account that holds the collector’s edition upgrade.
Customer support cannot award pets to accounts that were not upgraded with the collector’s edition, or award other pets that were not part of the collector’s edition
In spite of this, I hope you’re enjoying the classic experience this far!

I know it’s a bit difficult to figure out which account has which license version on it (collectors and such), that is something that is being worked on. From what I can see, you are playing on the correct account already in Classic.

I hope they add this. It’s just a line of text. “Collectors edition” etc, after the name.
It used to say “Collectors; BFA” on my main account - but now it just says… “BFA”.
