what’s with the night fae quest having to go to the maw to save 8 souls, just to return it and have to do it again? this is the second time ysera gives the quest twice in a row… is it bugged?
Nah, she actually needed 16 souls but did not know how to ask you. Thought you will say no cause it’s too much.
Strangely, I have never even been offered this quest on my Fae alt
i eat the souls instead of saveing them i am hungry so i eat them
I’m wondering the same. No reward except gold, four quests total now. As a Zandalari Troll, I’m not particularly interested in saving Night Elf souls. Why are they treated as the victims when Jaina murdered King Rastakhan? Where is the retribution story for that event?
Ysera is aging and she is dead too… forgive her… not the devs.
It’s just refugee’s camp simulator
I’ve had this too, second time now.
Being rewarded a little gold for it… what a meaningless reward.
I see where you are coming from. But… what does Jaina have to do with the Night elves?
Besides you can’t compare a genocide to a killing of a King.
Why 16 bits if you can have 2 bytes!
Jaina and Night Elves are both part of the Alliance. Trolls have never been on good footing with Night Elves, to put it mildly. And just because Jaina did not succeed in destroying Zul’dazar, does it make her intentions less objectionable? It’s not really about comparing suffering anyway, it’s just that from a Horde, and in particular a Zandalari Troll perspective, the quest line makes little sense.
In a world of the afterlife, Alliance and Horde shouldn’t matter. If you are still worried about earthly divisions while the dead wrongly suffer in their purgatory it says a lot. A Night Elf now a soul unfairly stuck and being tortured in the Maw will not care if a Troll or Jaina rescues them.
Tell that to Shandris Feathermoon, who is outright hostile towards Horde players in the Night Fae campaign, and of course Tyrande.
Remember Camp Taurajo. Never forget!
I like those quests. The souls count towards the “rescue souls in the maw” quest
Killing a king is like killing a whole nation.
Killing a king is like killing a whole nation?
King, to peasant - who’s winning? Peasant - Who cares, it doesn’t make any difference (cheers to Monty Python for that one, but it’s very very true, as history has taught us) - incidentally, in Wow we have seen many kings die, but remarkably the Nations continue.
Good lord, look at your little baby Anduin! He doesn´t even know how to lead and still a teenager, at least his mentality. Stormwind are in ruins since the death of Varian.
Your nation is weak, Wood elf
Not my nation blondie - that died long ago, and remains unmourned, but it was the people, not a king, that killed it - ahh for the beauty of Eldre’Thalas.
Al diel shala, Malanore.
