A level 50 buddy boosted my level 15 ally char through SFK yesterday, i was able to pick up and finish the questline in there but i didn’t get ANY xp from mob kills at all.
This was the first try after the Pre patch and it definatly worked before, eventhough it was much it was still something. I was the party leader .
Correct. They REALLY nerfed the amount of XP you get for being boosted through low level dungeons by a massively overgeared friend. I think you get a small amount of XP for completing the dungeon, XP for any dungeon quests, but none for kills.
Crap so this can’t be avoided then ? I was hoping it was a bug, no point in doing a dungeon more than once for the quests then as i’m not a fan of doing low level dungeons through the lfd tool. Thanks for the confirmation.
Not a good decision on Blizzards part this. Removing more fun from the game. So now we have no option to boost friends alts other than level from scratch with them using Chromie time? GG Blizz. Played this game for 15 years and your recent decisions are making me choose to not play this game anymore. Good luck in Shadowlands

Ahh, so another one who expects to be given a full set of Best In Slot raiding gear, as soon as they start playing, without having to work for any of it.

Kinda harsh that tbh and it wasn’t even what he was talking about, me and a mate have played this game together for 13 years and always boosted eachothers chars for fun when the questing got dreary . We have both done regular dungeons and raids etc along the way so removing this harmless fun seems pointless imo.
Well, leveling is faster now more than ever when using chromie time. Just do it in WoD and you can get to lvl50 in 12 hours. But I guess, that no matter how fast it is, its never fast enough for some ppl. One can wonder, why they pley an mmo, where leveling is a big part of the gameplay, when they hate leveling so much.
It’s about having fun, not about speed or being lazy. I have a metric ton of characters spanned over several realms and i have leveled all of them. Speed wasn’t mentioned even once, boosting one lowlevel char in dungeons with a maxlevel char haven’t been an efficient way of leveling for a very long time. Read the topic before responding please.
