I thought today I would quickly clear the 20+ tries, but I hear that you can no longer share the quest :confused:
It’s interesting that they can fix this right away, but they didn’t deal with the elemental storms…

Or the meta-achievements that’s supposed to provide mounts or manuscripts which they claimed would be high priority.

What Blizzard seems to want:

A fun community event with…

  1. High participation (using FOMO).
  2. Better geared/skilled players supporting low gear/levellers etc
  3. Something for guild/groups to do together/reason to form groups
  4. Nudging solo players to ‘join’ in a group activity.
  5. the event not be completed too quickly and last most of the time span. (via low drop rates).

What Players tend to do:

  1. Get it completed as fast as possible and out of the way.
  2. Solo players - See 1. before no one else is doing it and it is impossible to get done.

What could be done:

Remove FOMO element, give ppl a couple of weeks minimum to participate, with each year available after that.

Clear communication - reassurance that old items will not be removed or unavailable, only new items added.

Reduce incentive to spam/rush content by -

Make it as easy to do content at the end of the timeframe as the beginning. Big boss - Scales to number of players in the area/attacking or Farmer NPCs turn up and help out etc. Let players know this.

The mount instant drop rate could still be low, IF there was ALSO a reasonable collecting option for steady progress.

eg) Egg shells used to craft a massive egg for the mount to spawn in. (with a cool animation).

If you slowly craft the giant egg, you also get to use the giant empty shell as a decent size bag/container ? (account bound)

Levelling players could be incentivised to participate by optional increased xp gain ?

Just a tip. Eggs working completely different now. As soon as someone loot it, it remains to be looted for 2-3 seconds by someone else.
It took me less than 10min to farm 250 in Dolanaar.

Seen some others get it in 40 and 90.

This really is an alt game again for mount farm. I will have to re level the army I had for the rocket :dracthyr_uwahh_animated:

i think you need a master degree in rocket engineering to be able to put the mount as a quest chain reward and not a 1% drop from a basket

Maybe we think it’s a carpet but really is a towel. A towel for the tears we shed complaining about Plunderstorm being PvP.

Possibly, since they said Noblegarden in their eyes is Plunderstorm without PvP for the scared PvE players.

Wait. This is the event that Blizz says PVE players will enjoy?? Oh god. And also, screw the mount, its ugly as hell anyway.

The duck mount might be the next 6 months sub mount that comes this summer. The demand is high for the duck mount and it’s likely why we didn’t get it for easter. They already have mount skeleton for it aka Ohn’ahran Plains Pvp world quest.
