Noble flying carpet mount

Alliance Bias

I only have a couple of max Alliance but those went fine tbh it was only in Durotar they bugged.

They need to change these 1% drops, made a separate topic about it. I think we need to start raising our voices about this because the gameplay loop of seeing no drops for weeks on end is painful as it is, and even worse with these kinds of events that only last a week.

I like that it’s not a dungeon so we don’t get hit with the instance lock.

I don’t like the drop rate ofc but I’m farming the appearances atm.

What a take.

If the game is not engaging or fun it’s in everyone’s interest to communicate that so that it can be changed. That’s why the game is actively developed, and hopefully blizz can just change the drop to a currency grind so that players can feel rewarded rather than simply relieved that it’s over.

A carpet with 4 eggs on it? Yeah that’s not happening, not remotely interested. A duck mount would’ve been a different story. Ridiculous that Duckflight doesn’t have any. Good for me that the carpet is garbage though. Since I managed to get the armour sets yesterday I was also done with the event entirely.

got it after 95 kills. What i can say is i hope you guys have lots of alts or that there is a huge increase in chance from the first kill per day since its only 1 week.

:face_with_spiral_eyes:

95 in 2 days
don’t know how you find the courage to do that.

I have 7 char, only 4 at lvl 70, I mostly play only with my main.

I’ll probably try on my 60s as well today but I don’t have many, most are at 50 where I abandoned them after Love Rocket farm, clearly Blizzard was like but wait!!!

Think I opened that and got an egg or something. I know I didn’t get anything interesting.

I’ll do the quest line, think it gives a toy.
I won’t be farming 250 eggs for a pet, duck that for a game of soldiers.

The reason this doesn’t change, is the data doesn’t support what people are saying.

Millions of people complain about all sorts of prices, but they still pay the money for the product, so the company learns that those prices are OK, as long as they can put up with a bit of moaning.

Blizzard’s feedback is similar, people complain about everything from rare drops to balancing, yet the data shows millions of runs for the various things on offer in the game, so they learn that despite people moaning about the event, it was still popular, and they can keep running it in the same way.

The only way to make the feedback matter is to stick to your guns, and not take part in things that don’t appeal to you.

Spotify as another example has been saying that “hifi” quality music has been coming since 2017, to silence complaints about the sound quality, it’s not here yet, and it never will be, because despite the complaints, millions of people keep using the service.

Just out of interest what is hi fi quality?

Hi-fi quality is anything better than CD. In technical terms this means 1100kb/s or higher, at at least 16/44.1 quality.

Spotify’s “very high” offers 320kb/s, which is roughly equivalent to type 2 cassette, recorded on a decent deck.

Thanks I found a noticeable difference between the free version and the better quality. So I was curious

A lot of the difference depends on how you listen. If you listen on a bluetooth speaker, or through your TV, 320kb’s is probably fine. But with a nice pair of headphones the limits are very noticeable.

Try comparing spotify to a CD / vinyl of the same album, or a tidal stream, you’ll notice what I mean.

I listen over speakers at home. But I find it’s the same as listening to a CD.

I can’t tell much difference on the mini hi-fi in the bedroom, on my big speakers in my listening room, I very much can. But audio is honestly subjective and if you like it, keep at it

I won’t disrupt this topic any further, however my point remains valid, that as long as people use the service / take part in the event, no matter what moaning takes place, then it teaches the provider of the event that it is fine.

Indeed, was fascinating though.

Back on topic, I think it’s unrealistic to expect people to ignore events.

It is, but it’s the only way that anything will change. The forums are used by a relatively small number of users, so I imagine Blizzard uses participation data in order to decide how well an event was responded to.

You missed the point, dont do it but feel free to complain. Doing it AND complaining?

Its inconsistent.
