Nocturnal Strike

Ok, so I have always been playing Nocturnal Strike against Death Adder (or whatever other non-elemental pet) when it blinds you. Unlike other abilities it always hits, since the note says "always hits if the target is blinded", yes? Today Nocturnal Strike missed, for the first time and I'm just wondering if something has changed or what's up?
Was the Death Adder Hatchling upon a blinding debuff (e.g. Darkness) aswell?

Call darkness inflicts a 10% chance to miss which is calculated AFTER the bonus for having Call Darkness.
Blinded boosts hit chance of nocturnal strike by a fixed amount which is 150%

You're hit chance was decreased by 110% chance with blinding poison and darkness. You had a 10% chance to miss the ability.

Enough of the misinformation.

>ability never misses in Darkness
>bad programers cause it to miss anyway

Good job Blizzard! Would it be hard to boost by 1000% instead of 150%

The target is your opponent, not yourself.
