Non-combat activities

Just a quick note to Blizz. One of the best parts of the Nazjatar section of BFA is the bility to complete your daily activities while not playing as a dps. The option of the games, Runelocked and Leylocked chests along with the pet battles made this possible.
I’d suggest re-using these along with certain similar options from Legion, possibly under the control of an NPC to offer a random one of these a day towards SL emmisaries, assuming they exist. Make them relevant to current content, is the point.
This would benefit everyone not set on harcore DPS, as well as appealing to those who want a bit of variety in their WoW experience.

There are a few new games out but I found them horrible to try and do lol. :zipper_mouth_face:

Heh, I remember first night with Jumping Jellies, it was a nightmare to finish. A bit of playtesting and balancing should sort the new ones out.

I would support this having more options then just fighting in game…

But ley locked and runelocked have zero challenge to them… same as this world quest of the tortollan with walking a line or trying to get the 2 pairs togather there all zero challenge… they need to make them a bit more challeging.

The only game i was ok with was the uncrossing the lines one. The rest were either boring (like the color thing) or extremely tedious (turtle games).

There was that 3rd game in Nazjatar, deflecting the incoming energy beams, but it wasn’t on the emmisary list so it didn’t get a lot of attention. Can’t say I was any good at it though.

check the dmf minesweeper next week :р

btw if i hear a single thing tarded as a turtle made it to the water or can you not cross the line like 3 yrs old, i quit

it is stupid to sacrafice my iq for a few points of rep

what??? :face_vomiting:
only if its doable on the phone

I do tend to seek out the dailies that have no combat in them, especially the runelocked chests. I must be the only person likes doing the Tortollen minigames :joy_cat:

But I also liked the farm in Pandaria, and working on my Garrison in WoD, and I’m genuinely interested in the new mission table, so yes, I’d be happy to see some alternative daily activities that aren’t “kill 10 Maw Boars” or “fill a bar by killing things”

Nor do any of the combat quests after a few weeks at max level… Both are just different ways to spend a few minutes.

I tried that a few times and just kept failing :frowning:

having played lots of mmos i still want them to add stuff like farming runs from runescape or something

it’s a nice balance to go out and do something interactive that isn’t combat when you have downtime while not raiding or doing arena or whatever

I like the puzzle quests type dailies we’ve had since Legion(?), they are a nice change. I always prioritise the bejeweled WQs in Nazjatar when it’s their emissary

Which brings up the question why do we even bother to do them? :joy:

Because that’s how WoW levels the playing field - at least at the more casual end such as world quests. Up to a point, all players of any ability can be equal by engaging in a grind that doesn’t challenge their skills, only their dedication. It ensures that everyone can get “something”

Personally I don’t mind it much. It provides something to do when nobody in my guild is online for dungeons, and now and then I get a mount or cosmetic out of it.

All good and well I suppose but to be honest with you I am at a breaking point here.
I will look how shadowlands is and have some fun with it ,since i pre ordered it and i want my money’s worth but after that I will quit this game forever.
