I like to play wow with my boyfriend and we use passenger mounts to get to places. It would be nice if there was a passenger mount that does not look bad while on the ground and the driver is visible on it (for roleplaying purposes).
There are two options I can think of for passenger mounts where the driver is visible:
Stormwind Skychaser: Very bulky and looks weird stomping around on the ground when it can’t fly.
X-53 Touring Rocket: Does not fit into the fantasy theme, also it is again a flying mount, looks weird when it is confined to the ground.
If Blizzard likes to limit flying this much, there should be a better option of a 2-seater non-flying mount for roleplaying a couple.
There is chopper made by engineers, then mammoths from wotlk (just make sure to buy multipassenger one), then grand expedition yak from pandaria. Don’t forget that those mounts that carry vendors are also multipassenger, just kick out the vendors and you can carry passengers on those.
There’s also the chauffeur driven mechanohog (can’t recall the name Alliance side) which has a visible npc driver. Technically you could walk around in Sandstone Drake form and be very visible I suppose.
I use chopper on the ground and airship in the air if I need a 2 seater. They are realy great for this purpose. Look nice and have simillar theme to them.
Yea, I realize the yak/mammoths are an option but they are huuge, which is annoying when you are trying to get to places. Probably the chopper or the new camel will be a good option. Thanks
Ah but you are not the driver on the Mechanohog and you are not technically “visible” as the Sandstone Drake. We do have loads of two-person mounts and you’ve pointed some out but I am saying we could do with more!
Yes you are. You are mixing it with the “heirloom” mount that is similar where driver drives you. Mechahog (horde version) and Mekgineer’s chopper (alliance version) are proper 2 seater mounts where driver drives the bike and passenger is in side car. They are mades by engineers but don’t require engineering to ride them. Available in AH and your loval friendly engineers.
