Hey guys. So although i have an 120lvl warlock (boosted) i m lvl my true main a worgen hunter. I lvl up fast playing both quests and dungeons. So now almost 100lvl i want to ask (i have read sooo many things that its becoming confusing…) a few things… Maybe a bit more…
First of all i dont really play PVP. Almost no activity. I love PVE and hitting a few dungeons from time to time for the exp and the drops.
I didn’t even know about heirlooms till about 80 lvl… A new ingame friend told me so. Is it worth it to reach them to 120lvl? Or not?
What about stats where should i focus on so i can solo more efficiently?
Anything good that could help me power up my dps? Like enchants etc…?
Pets? Tenasity or ferosity for me? Any difference? And somewhere saw about pet trinkets and stuff? Had no idea!
Professions… Was thinking skinning and herbalism for the hunter. And leatherworking and something else (alchemy, tailoring dont know) for my warlock.
Finally what is this garrison exactly…? Should i send my followers to missions or put them in some building???
Sorry for this LONG page with questions… I hope someone answers lol!! THANKS!!
Can’t remember exactly what heirlooms you can get atm that would be helpful at your level.
But either way, you’re currently around the 100 mark so honestly…don’t bother with heirlooms for your hunter. If you were to start a new hunter from level 1, then sure, get some heirlooms. But for 20 levels? Nah.
Don’t worry about stats while leveling or when doing open world content. Aim for a higher item level on gear and you will be fine.
The upside of playing as a hunter is that you won’t have too much trouble soloing stuff. Especially if you play the Beast Mastery-spec.
Just checked your profile and noticed that you’ve already acquired several heirloom items so…guess the above doesn’t matter so much anymore.
Anyway…
If you want more info on what you should focus on to up your performance, feel free to check out Icy Veins(link below).
That guide continues beyond the easy-mode stage and goes more in-depth about what you can do. But start with the easy mode stuff.
For highest damage output, it doesn’t really matter what pet you choose.
While leveling, make sure you use your Mend Pet-ability whenever you see that your pet is starting to lose health. And make sure that your pet, as much as possible, is the one who takes the damage and not yourself.
In combination with that, I would recommend for you to pick a Ferocity-pet while leveling due to the bonus passive self-healing you get with such pets.
(The level 100 talent: Aspect of the Beast which improves pet damage as well as pet specific passive bonuses, is something you want both for leveling as well as end game).
Once you start to focus more on end game content rather than leveling, I would recommend that you try to get a Spirit Beast as a pet. They come with the Tenacity-spec. Which will give you a on-use damage reduction ability along with other helpful abilities.
Such as:
Spirit Mend - on-use healing over time-effect that has a 30sec cooldown(usable on any friendly target you want, incl the pet itself).
Spirit Shock - offensive tranquilizing ability that removes certain enrage- or magic-effects from a target.
Part from the above…if you want more info on pets and what they do(or what to pick), feel free to check out the link below:

Pick your poison really
Generally, Alchemy is good. So is Enchanting and/or Jewelcrafting.
Engineering also has a lot of useful gadgets that will help you in various ways.
I would recommend though, as you’re fairly new, pick 1 crafting profession(like the above), and pick one gathering profession:
You can ofc combine professions across multiple characters when you have them at max level.
You can if you want to.
Though your Garrison is specific to your current level range, which will end once you hit level 100 and move on to the next piece of content.
Once you reach 100, you generally wont have much use for the Garrison.
So I would say…don’t bother unless you really want to.
No problem.
Keep working on it and you’ll get there eventually!
